This carpet is exactly what we needed and exactly what we were told it would be. Very easy to install. The different patterns and colors were fun to play around with. Installed on our cement basement floor with ease

After reading the reviews, I went with these mismatched squares over the the same priced squares of all the same color because it sounded like these were of better quality. And they were great! Very heavy duty. We had slightly over 500 square feet to cover and bought 14 boxes, because we had so much edge, we ended up with "0" full squares at the end (but many pieces)..I might go buy another box for "extra", when/if some get ruined. We laid our design and then began cutting the edges, which took several hours over a few days. Make sure you have a super sharp carpet knife! I knew we were going to need to stick down the edges, but I'm not even sure we really needed that...we did tape down the edges and occasionally added a little more carpet tape. After we were done the edges I went and vacuumed the whole room...and nothing budged! So, unless I have a problem the central pieces will not be taped down. Some pieces were different pile heights, but nothing crazy. Mostly boring colors and quite a few repeats. We did get 6 of the bright yellow striped ones you see in the photos, and a bright blue you see as well ( but only one of those!). Very pleased.

This assortment box of carpet tiles was just what we were looking for. The price is very good compared to other tiles. I got a good assortment of tiles and they were pretty much the same assortment of tiles amongst the 7 boxes or so that I purchased. There were only 2 or 3 tiles out of the 70 or so that I really did not like. There were also some very nice tiles too. Most of the tiles were neutral in color. They do vary in heights (thickness) as well. I did not find this to be a problem and really looked and feels good under-foot even with slight height differences.

Absolutely love this carpet. Bought it for my loft that I finished. It was so easy to install and the results were awesome! It is very heavy and not cheap looking! It made my loft bigger looking because of all the fun colors and patterns!

What was most upsetting is that none of the bright colors you see are included in seven different boxes we orders we received one bright blue the rest were gray. Nice patterns and quality but not what is advertised.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RET Perfect for a rental home
Yes, they are different colors, patterns and texture. Yes, there were a few slightly different heights. But for our rental house they were perfect! The previous "commercial" wall to wall whole house carpet was trashed by the former tenant who even kept a dog in the house without consent. Replacing that carpet with these carpet tiles saved over $2000 and took my wife & I only two days labor to rip out the old carpet and place the tiles. We even had fun moving the tiles around to create different effects for each of the rooms. Our new tenant loves the tiles and if there is a future problem area, we only need to replace a few 2 X 2 tiles for a little over $4 a tile. We bought an extra box just for future replacements and with100% nylon tiles, the flooring should last until we're ready to sell the house. By the way, our daughter loved the looks so much that she ordered and placed 4 boxes worth in her foyer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Boggsr Outstanding carpet especially for a hard to carpet and high traffic area and so easy to install.
These carpet squares are an outstanding value. Extremely easy to install. I had to work around an entertainment center that could not be moved and had to half a room at a time due to lack of space to move other furniture to. It was easily done. Just know that you will have a quilt square like appearance with the different shades and textures. I ordered one box extra in case I needed to discard some tiles but all were perfectly acceptable. There are some differences in thickness in some of the carpets as well as texture besides just color and design. But for our sunroom which is also our most used room in the house, it was perfect. Very easy to cut. You probably don't even need the tape that is on the back of the tiles. I stopped using it about half way through and don't notice any difference. I used a chalk marker to draw on the flat black back sides of any tiles that needed to be cut. THey cut with scissors or a knife very easily. Much easier than standard carpet. In other words, to mark for cutting: complete the row except for the last tile that needs to be cut. Flip that last carpet square upside down. Place another square on top of the last completed square, lined up perfectly with that square and on top of the flipped section, use the chalk marker to draw a line on the back side. Cut and flip back with the cut side against the wall. It worked for me.
