Answer:
Not just vegetables, but fruits as well. I moved all the baby strawberries plants popping up in my yard, and from an old hanging planter, into these planters last fall. The 1st image is a 30day before/after from last fall. Both the planters and the plants overwintered, unprotected, with no signs of stress or damage. They are now overflowing the planters and covered in fruits and flowers.

Answer:
I am using them for peppers, herbs and flowers. It definitely looks like you could plant lots of different vegetables in them. The only issue is that once filled with dirt, you cannot move them.

Answer:
There are several holes in the bottom of the plastic--almost like slits. The boxes seem to retain water well, as I've been watering daily during our upper 90's heat spell, but though the top of soil is dry, it seems moist under the top dry layer. I put landscape cloth underneath the beds, as well, but I'd say that the beds seem to help to retain some of the water, while allow excess to drain out.

Answer:
Its Depending on the variety of tomato plants and how big they get. I would say at minimum four and up to eight plants. I currently have one at home and I am growing six Cherokee purple tomato plants in it and is working well. Each plant is about four to five feet tall. I hope this helps.

10 in. Plastic Tomato Raised Garden Bed Kit Planter is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Missing Hardware! No hardware was included on this order from HD. Despite numerous e-mails to HD, as well as the manufacturer, no solution was offered. Finally, this year, I purchased the required bolts and am preparing to fill with Mel's Mix and plant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed I bought this because I'm not an expert gardener, but I really wanted raised beds. This is perfect because I wasn't spending a lot of money, but I'm still getting a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best value for raised planting beds! We purchased 10 of these raised beds to go around the perimeter of our patio. Easy to put together! Perfect size and depth for all your vegetables. Great price for what we wanted! Cheaper than if we made them ourselves! Can't wait to fill each one with a dirt mixture required for what we want to plant!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good way to grow.. The raised garden bed was very easy to assemble, position and fill and therefore gave me an excellent alternative to grow some vegetables. I will definitely be adding more beds to my "growing garden".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly as advertised, buying more next year Bought 4 (2 for me and 2 for my sister) These planter kits are easy to put together,15 minutes for the first one less than 10 min each for the others. The frames are very sturdy and the parts fit perfectly and the liners are high grade plastic that is strong. I planted 3 tomato plants in one and 4 cucumber plants in the other. Not the prettiest option but the price is right and the product is good. Planning on buying some more next year!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great planter for vegies, tomatoes, etc. This planter was easy to assemble. It was shipped in a box, packed very well, hardware was in a bag and easy to locate. I would recommend this for the home gardener, whether on a patio or in the greenhouse, etc. The only negative is that once there is dirt in it, it cannot be moved, so plan accordingly. At this point not sure if this will be a one season item or multi year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT for tomato plants AND anything you want to protect from Moles stealing bulbs ! These garden beds are perfect ! JUST REMEMBER to place your stakes (when you have to brace your plant) OUTSIDE the boxes - so not to puncture the plastic bottom. I also sprinkled some armadillo repellant around the exterior of the boxes to keep the moles, possum, other varmint away from my plants.
