CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice propagation dome I needed a tall dome for some vegetable grafts. This fit the bill perfectly. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Much better than the Jiffy Peat Starters Historically I've used the Jiffy Seed Starter kits with the peat tablets/packets. Those work well but the replacement peat packets cost more than the whole kit limiting re-use. In looking for something a little better ordered these to get a little more re-use value. The way these are designed you can use it without the compartmentalized tray or with it. The compartmentalized tray is also good enough to keep the seedlings separate whereas the Jiffy product relied mainly on the peat tablets thus limiting re-use capability. These have a 7" high dome with adjustable vents in the top. It let's you grow seedlings a lot taller than the Jiffy as the Jiffy was limited to about 2 inches before you had to remove the top. In the long run I think this kit with my own seed starting mix will be a much more economical solution. April 19, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 10 IN. X 20 IN. PROPAGATION KIT WITH TALL 7 IN. DOME The tray is a little weak and the dome is thin and not sure how long they will last. But is is working for what I want them for at a good price. April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good cell tray No surprises, just as advertised. Cell seems durable and rigid. Dome is tall with handle and adjustable openings. March 8, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Worked as expected. Worked as expected. The tray with seed pods is a bit flimsy. If you lift it out of the tray when you have just watered your seedlings be very conscious of how you hold it so it doesn't crack in 2. Otherwise it's fine and does the job. I like the tall dome. Allows me to use the plastic seed identifiers upright instead of having to lay them flat. And I can use the dome on other trays the same size. December 8, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product This works well for starting seeds. My only issue is that it sinks a bit in the middle. The vent controls are great. March 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product Is the same as most seeding kits only with the difference that dome is much higher than the regular ones. Dome also has two vents in venting is required. Thickness of tray plastic should be a little more to avoid easy rupture. Has to be handled with care, but so far so good. February 17, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Right size, but has a crack/hole in it which leaked water everywhere This has the tall dome like what I need, it's a little bigger than I need, but the most important part that I needed was for it to not leak everywhere. It isn't sold in stores so I did a site to store online order to save shipping costs on 3 pieces of lightweight plastic. despite having my name on the outside of the box it appears the stores have to open each box I suppose to verify the order etc... picked it up from the store and brought it home to find the dome was dented in a couple places but still functional so no worries, but after realizing my soil tabs didn't fit until they were completely water logged (fine but time consuming), and getting it about 1/4 full of soil and seeds ready for my garden this year.... it started dripping off the table onto the floor. thankfully I was in the kitchen so it was an easy cleanup job. vs dealing with a return process when it could just be damaged in shipping again I put some silicone over the crack on the inside of the water tray and put electrical tape on the outside. Hopefully that does the job. February 25, 2015
