Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge This planter is an excellent addition to any garden, whether you live in a house or in an apartment because you simply fill it with soil and plant. This planter is made with sturdy quality making it very strong to rise up like the Dirty Birds on its own. The four handles makes it easy to grab the planter when being filled. Overall, this is an excellent option for planting in the location you want,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great raised bed planter in size and material I have a small lot in Arizona and a raised bed planter has been something I have been looking for. This planter is wonderful because it is self contained if you want it to be so or you can place it in a wagon to have a portable garden or in a large pot to make it pretty. The material feels great and should work well for containing the dirt so you can keep the area the garden it in nice and clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great concept We have several raised planting beds that we made using lumber so we were game for trying this concept. This planter is much larger than we imagined. It measures, approximately 2 feet tall and 4 1/2 feet in diameter once we filled it with top soil. It has 4 handles which make it easier to manipulate as you are filling it up. The material is heavy duty, and even once filled with soil, it holds up with ease. This is a great concept if you are not handy enough to make your raised beds or you just want a small contained garden. We are getting ours set for the perfect herb garden!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, love, love these planters! I wish I was the one that designed these planters - they are genius! This is big enough to get in, curl up and take a nap, but better than that, you can grow lots of root vegetables in them, carrots, beets, turnips, etc. Or you can plant 3 or more squash plants and as they grown, let the fines drape over the edge - no worries with gnats or worms. Speaking of worms, since natural worms can't get into the pouch, I get worms for fishing and place a few in each planter. They make the soil really great for plants I stopped working my soil 3 years ago when I started planting in root pouches, and have never regretted it, not once. After I cleared out my old garden, I laid down a very large, cammo colored tarp, 30'x20' so nothing touches the ground anymore. You can plant tomatoes in these too, just be sure to put the planter in a place you can pound in a stake, without piercing the planter, or the bugs get in. Just be sure to place the planter where you want it, because even though it has handles you won't be able to move once filled and wet. Also, depending on what growing medium you choose to use, you can dump the soil, hose off the planter and store for the winter. I just love this planter-I can enjoy working with my plants with 3/4 of the effort!
