I was very impressed with this kit. It came packaged very well and each cell had a pre-made hole where you planted your seed. I used my label maker to label what I had planted in each row. The heat mat for underneath worked wonders for creating condensation inside of the lid, which seemed to keep the seedlings moist. The lid also has two vents that you can turn to open or close. I was away as they grew, but my husband sent me a photo on day 6 and they had sprouted very well! I am thinking about getting a couple more as this worked so very well!

I wasn't able to use this right away so its been sitting in my grow room unopened building condensation under the plastic when last week I noticed something green and leafy growing in most of the cups.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by PHnoD Grow Kit, I’ll use until..
I was disgusted at the price for replacement seed trays, thickness or strength of material, overall everything. Seed tray is nothing more than a plastic Stover’s candy tray material, junk, mine came all cracked and crushed and the hole in the bottom of each pod will make it impossible to reuse again with my soil choice and can’t see spending 15+ for another. I don’t know until I try but now you know because I tried. My small yogurt cups, old diaper box with saran wrap windows and a paperclip lock for the cat, did and would work just fine again, maybe bigger next time, I’ll wait and see, I will start up again in February . 3 stars

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Charlotte Little seed starter green house with dome, plugs, and heat mat, excellent!
I really love my little green house. It is just as advertised. The clear dome is great to watch the seeds germinate. It could be a little thicker because if it dents, it is difficult to un-dent. The heat mat has made a significant difference in the time it take to see little green plants pop up! I can control the temperature by removing the dome or tuning off the heat mat but so far I have not needed to do either even in our 100 degree heat in Houston. I am growing plumaria, a very difficult seed to germinate and so far having good luck do to my little 50 seed green house. If you have limited space and want to try plants from seed, this is a great way to get going.

This is pretty neat, especially if you have no idea what you are doing like me when it comes to plants. The see-through dome is great to watch the plants grow, the heat helps them along especially in the winter (not really necessary here in the southwest) and the moisture is trapped inside to help the little plants (your choice) grow. No needing to constantly water them. Not sure about replacement pods, maybe use something else? I don't know where they can be purchased.
Perfect for a present or teach young kids about gardening.

Why there is no papers of instructions,
Ao the cover dome is very flimsy. It could have been a little more sturdy
Otherwise it is good

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Micah Great for cloning/cuttings
This set up is great for the amateur gardener. The tall dome allows you to keep seedlings protected a little longer than in the trays with the low domes. This also allows you the room to put cuttings and clones of your plants into it to take root. Cuttings need the high humidity to survive long enough to put out new roots and survive. It's much easier than constantly having to spray mist your clones. The heating pad goes under the tray and keeps everything a comfortable temperature and gets the water to turn to vapor inside the dome.
Just be careful when handling everything as it is plastic and not very thick/sturdy. Use both hands when picking it up, especially if it's loaded with plants!
