Customer Questions & Answers

Are they sturdy enough to hold flower pots indoors for drainage?

Asked by: Dmacc502
Yes, as long as you do not intend to try to lift multiple pots full of dirt. They would do fine for drainage.

Standard Flat (10-Pack) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from good to go not using it for plants, but for concrete art. Sorry i do not have a green thumb, but want to make patio stepping stone with my grandkids.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good for the price. I almost didn't buy these because of a couple of reviews saying they were flimsy. I've bought the other trays in the store that has the 72 cell insert in it. Those trays are flimsy, these are thicker and turned out to be just what I was looking for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent product for the price These are not the strongest trays I've used but they are sturdy enough for regular use and compare well with other trays I've seen, considering the price. I'm guessing they will probably last 2-3 seasons and I would buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 Packs are for those who know what they are doing these trays are the standard for the industry and are perfect for home use with a little instruction. Most professionals will tell you that you need a flat tray (like a baking sheet) underneath. these are perfect for growing micro-greens also. To grow micro-greens fill half way with potting soil mix and sprinkle desired micro-greens seed that has been soaked and drained for 12 hours- directly on top. Now place wet news paper on top and mist... ( important- you want the paper damp only-do not soak the potting soil) so mist the paper daily until the sprouts lift the paper up by about an inch before removing the paper top (the paper's weight is important to promote strong seedlings!) When they get close to cutting size then move them to a sunny spot to green up for just a day or two before harvesting. Cut with scissors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for "wintering" my frost sensitive plants Took the advice of other reviewers & had these plant trays sent to the store for pickup. They arrived in great condition. I am using these trays to house my outdoor plants that would otherwise die if left out over the winter. I dug up my fav heirloom tomato & poblano pepper plants to see if I could keep them going during the winter. I can fit 2 hanging baskets in one tray. I also purchased the plastic shelving($20) & these trays fit perfectly (one tray per shelf). So fingers crossed, these plants will live through the polar vortex.
