Answer:
You have to purchase Honeywell after market 3.25 inch mineral pads and cut to fit or slit the edges and push down. EMP-15 pads are no longer available.

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does the job well Although you have to fill it more than once a day when you run it on high it is easy to do with the 2 tanks instead of one big one. Really helped keep our small home more comfortable. April 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great product but noisy I have allergies and asthma & live in a very dry climate. I've used humidifiers consistently for years, and prefer the warm-mist humidifiers over the cool mist humidifiers for multiple reasons. This humidifier is perfect in so many ways: the ultraviolet light that kills germs in the water, the dual water reservoirs, the size, the color, the design and quality of the product, the output of steam... all are perfect The only problem is the sound while the humidifier is running. This is the loudest humidifier that I've owned. I even moved the device out of the bedroom and into the adjoining bathroom while running, and it was still too loud to use while I slept. I was so disappointed at this aspect of the system because I really appreciate everything else about it. If you or your family members are light sleepers, this is not the humidifier for you. If you or your family members are heavy sleepers, you'll love this humidifier. February 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Solid Works great and is much easier to clean than other humidifiers I've had before. It is a little noisy though. I use it in the bedroom and had to relocate it a few feet further away from where I wanted it due to the noise waking me up. I would buy it again. January 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this humidifier and the prevous edition I like the clean output ensured by the fact that the water is UV treated, then heated, though the new uv+ ultrasonic types are cheaper to run. For those who have trouble cleaning the tanks let me recommend white vinegar and a bottle brusn bent to accommodate your need. I use a tap off my shower water filter to partially soften the water for this thing, a 1.5 inch putty knife and white vinegar for maintenance a bottle brush for tank cleaning. I do not use the mineral pads, too expensive. You can use citric acid or "soursalt" solution to clean instead of white vinegar. Running two of these in your home will make it more comfortable even at 2000 sqft. As to the person complaining about the 15% deadband (e.g.the unit turned on when i the humidity hit 40% and ran till the humidity was at 55%) you are not humidifying with ultrasonics here. you are heating a bit of water which takes time so a 15 degree deadband would seem about right. (I know something about sensors and control circuits) Make the example big and you will understand, If you were heating up a big boiler to make steam, you'd need to tolerate some over shoot, but if you had a laser with the same amount of steam creating capacity (analagous to the ultrasonic humidifier) you could turn it on and off every 30 seconds and keep better control I have owned the old version of this for years and have used the new one as well. I like the clean output and the maintenance is not bad.. They work for me. January 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works well Unit works well as a humidifier, but I am unable to find 2.25 inch replacement mineral pads that absorb minerals from tap water. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great! Great product! love it and love that it holds lots of water November 3, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Features But Humidistat is Useless The dual tank is nice since it reduces the weight of the carry. The tanks are easy to fill since it sits flat in the sink. The caps are easy to remove. It does use a large area wherever it is placed. Quiet operation. My issue is the humidistat is almost useless. It switches on at less than 40% and off at above 55% at its current setting. My prior Honeywell unit controlled to within 1% of a setting. Update at 33days: The humidistat is not working since it is either off or on. Humidity has ranged from low 30% to over 60%. February 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked for 6 years I got this humidifier 6 years ago for my daughters room. It just died this winter from old age and use. We live in a very cold, dry area and it ran almost nonstop from October to April every year. I liked the dual tanks, the filters were easy to change, and it produced a nice white noise but wasn't so loud as to be annoying. My only complaint was that cleaning the tanks was a pain - there was no good way to clean the area around the caps. January 4, 2014
