Product Overview

For cold, flu, bronchitis, sinusitis, laryngitis, and allergy sufferers, this personal steam inhaler restores sufficient moisture to the lungs and respiratory tract. The patented plastic hood is contoured to cradle the face comfortably and directs warm moist air right into the nose and throat to temporarily relieve nasal, sinus, and chest congestion. Water goes into the unit’s easy-to-fill base where a patented heater gently boils it. A short 5- to 15-minute treatment is all that is required to make nasal and throat passages feel clearer.

Can I add a few drops of eucalyptus oil to the water reservoir?

Can I add a few drops of eucalyptus oil to the water reservoir?
Asked by: KPR
A.) Thank you for taking time to view our product. Oils or other liquids should not be added to the water in the reservoir. This may cause the unit to malfunction. There are Vicks VapoPads or Kaz Inhalant Pads that can be used with this inhaler. I hope this information helps. If you have other questions or concerns please contact our consumer relations team. You can reach them by calling 1-800-477-0457 (M-F, 8-7PM EST) or by e-mailing ConsumerRelations@kaz.com. Thank you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Misleading instructions, dangerous, and expensive Neither Box Nor The Instructions Tell: A) How To breathe and inhale Without Burning One’s face – even on low setting; B) Where To Put and how to use Vapor Pad(s). On Lowest Setting The Steam Gets Dangerously Hot If You Pause Breathing -- For A Short Time. $50. Is Outrageously Expensive for this. Also No useful instructions On The Website.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible. Opened VapoPad in the reservoir! No directions on the VapoPad despite two dedicated pages in the manual. Also the inhaler comes with an opened VapoPad located in the reservoir despite warnings stating that no medication or inhalant liquids should be added there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hot steam helps sore throat! My throat hurts all the time from allergy and weather change. This helps me get rid of pain. I just used it with pad, works better but pads are expensive. Still love it!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wouldn't recommend this Well, I used this steam inhaler for one day and one day only. I used the inhaler as instructed and a few seconds after placing my head into the plastic hood all of the liquid exploded and burned the left half of my face and hand. This just happened yesterday so all of the burns and scars still exist. If I could post a picture I would.
