Product Overview

The Victor Mini PestChaser Night Light emits high frequency sound waves that effectively repel rodents from protected areas. The sound is completely inaudible to humans and pets that are not considered rodents. It's kinder than traps, safer than poisons, and there are no dead rodents to dispose of so it minimizes human contact with mice, rats, and other disease-bearing rodents. Note: Ultrasonic sound cannot penetrate furniture, cabinets or walls.

Answer:
No. Depending on the size of the bedroom and size of the problem you may need more than one. I have two in my master bedroom and 1 in a smaller guest room. Installed them over three years ago; I haven't seen a mouse since.

Answer:
I'd actually recommend getting a couple packages, if you don't get enuf and there are pieces of furniture or possibly an alcove or corner there is potential for areas to be free of the sound waves. For my bedroom I used the whole 3 pack.

Answer:
This unit will cover up to 400 square feet, however the sound waves are not able to pass through walls. To cover two rooms, we recommend at least two units.

Answer:
It's difficult to say. The day I saw mice after our house was rehabbed I went out and bought several pestchasers. Over three years later, I have not seen any mice.

Answer:
We estimate that rodent activity will be reduced in 6 to 10 days. If the mice have nested, it may take a little longer.

The PestChasers® can last for up to 3 to 5 years. If the light is still illuminated, the unit will still be emitting the sound.

Answer:
Each unit will cover up to 400 square feet. For best results, they should be placed in an open area, as the ultrasonic sound waves are not able to pass through objects.

Rated 2.1 out of 5 by 29 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Please do not waste your money!! We bought two packs almost two months ago at $19 a package; a total of $38 before taxes. I have never been so disappointed. My fiance swears by traps but I was looking for a way to keep mice and rats away for good in a more humane manner. After finding our cabinets ravaged again and again by mice and/or rats, we put in the traps within a few feet of the pestchaser. We have caught SIX mice and rats within the last week and a half. I'm so disgusted with this product and the money we threw away on it. Please do not waste your money on this product. I wish I had seen these reviews before I purchased this product; lesson learned! Home Depot should pull it from the shelves. I would post a pic of the rat we caught with the traps this morning if I could stand it, but this poor thing was still alive and almost bit my fiance! :-( June 15, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Beyond Disappointed I noted after some repairs around my home a coupe of mice, so I asked my Husband to take care of it.The very next day he came home with these, I thought cute, discrete and hopefully will do the job.... I WAS WRONG. It seems that they are now dancing in front of the lights! The do not repel anything ! All I an say after 3 weeks of waiting for these things to work is don't buy them, you really what you pay for/ May 22, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Over Priced Night Light Dose nothing to deter the rats. It dose, however, provide the room with a wonderful ambient glow for them to see by while they dine in your kitchen. June 13, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't Work We bought two packages of these, they don't work at all. The mice run right by them =( May 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not worth the money Did not work at all. Watched a mouse walk 2 feet from one. Bought them in hopes of them working (because of positive reviews on other sites). Completely disappointed. Don't waste your money. June 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nope, don't buy it The mouse was right next to this and didn't seem to care. May 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I swear by these!! I had my current house (3800 sq.ft.) rehabbed over 5 years ago. It was infested with mice. After the rehab, we still had mice problems. I installed these pestchasers all throughout the house (at least 1 in every room, 2 in the kitchen, and at least one in the hallways, 2 in the open-area basement which is approx 1400 sq. ft. ). I haven't seen a mouse in my house in over 3 years. If you plug in one, you won't see a difference. You need to plug in several in order for them to work. March 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product works so long as you have enuf of them to cover the area. I have the most perfectly imperfect JRT, unfortunately my little mouser got cataracts at only 3 years old. She does a lot to deter many predators, however her doggie door is way too inviting and now that I have a roommate its hard to make sure every scrap of food has been put away. Living in a canyon doesn't exactly help either - needless to say I rely heavily on these sonic devices. I will say that my first 3 pack was used entirely in my bedroom. I placed one on each of the walls that surround my bed. Recently, we did begin to notice scurrying up to the attic and I found a couple droppings on each stair up to the upstairs hallway. Zero droppings near my door, zero in my room BUT there was one just under Roomies door. I rushed to HD and bought 2 more packs and although Roxy's door remains available there have not been new droppings. These will work so long as you use enuf of them. They do not penetrate furniture, walls or floors/ceilings. They also are not going to last forever, most likely a few years. The devices I had prior to these lasted at least 10 years before the water bugs started returning. If you can't stand the sight of rats, mice & other vermin these are a God send, (I can't even pick up a black box style trap once its been used) These just send the demons away, 'don't let the door hitcha!!' One thing the description states you know they are working bc of the red LED light = FALSE this item does not have a red LED light - rather it is the combo deterrent and night light. (Night light lets you know it is working) February 24, 2016
