A rat is living inside one of my exterior walls, and comes into the kitchen at night to finish off the cat food (you can tell when it's the rat.) The kitchen is being remodeled and there's a piece of baseboard missing until a floor-tile problem can be fixed. So I bought this and put it right where the rat comes in. It appears to have had no effect; the catfood bowl still is getting licked clean each night.
But the MAIN problem is, the manufacturers either don't get, or won't admit, that humans (and pets) don't have to actually HEAR a vibration in order to be affected by it. I found myself getting extremely agitated for no apparent reason, till after about three days I finally thought, "Ah ha! The rat repeller!" I unplugged it and IMMEDIATELY, felt way better. I'd avoid this like the plague. LOL.

I'm a single mom and was terrified when scratching sounds kept coming from an interior wall in our townhouse for a couple of weeks. I looked all over outside and couldn't find any point of entry and there had been no signs of any in the house. So traditional trap or poison methods weren't an option. I bought these and put them in every outlet along the wall where I had heard the scratching and the first night they were in, not a sound. It was exactly what i needed!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Princess I say its the best purchase i ever made, saved me lot ofmoneyand i recommend it to friends nd family. It Works and you must patch up how they get in.
I am a home owner if you have mice and want to get rid of them right away this is the most effective way I know that worked and put a stop on me buying products that would have kept me busy getting rid of them. This is the right buy if your family have allergy' or asthma. which rodents are a trigger to these conditions.

I have what they call roof rats in my attic, stubborn little guys, they climb the stucco and well I installed three of these and I did not hear anything for about a week, which I guess it was working, but then one of the units stopped working and last night I heard them again. I even installed one outside in my porch, they worked great except for the one unit that did not. I ordered the Rid Rite units now, hope they last longer than these. Hope this helps those folks that are trying to get rid of these stubborn pest.

Have one mouse in my dining room. It comes up through the wall and under the baseboard heating unit. Plug this into the dining room wall on opposite side of the room which is no more than 6 feet away from where the mouse enters the room. Mouse still came into the dining room, under the baseboard unit and swiped the PB and sticky trap I had lying on the floor. Took the sticky trap and PB down the wall with him. This unit did absolutely nothing!!!!

These devices make a noticeably loud buzzing sound that is not only audible to the human ear but is extremely distracting and irritating as well. Previous style devices of this nature and in this price range made no noise that the human ear could detect and were affective. Is this progress - new and improved?

The only way I could determine if this product works or not is by the amount of poo last behind on the barn floor. So far it seems to be working well.

I plug this into the wall, hoping to drive away my little pest; however you could still hear the mice gnawing on the wood directly behind the socket where ultrasonic repellent was placed.
