I had it about a month ago. At first, it caught several mice over night, then, it started to reduced the number down a lot as the time goes by. Right now, I visually haven't seen any mouse on most days. Right now I'm planning to have our house check to find out how the mice enter the house. My mother caregiver who is not comfortable in having mice run around likes this devises.

Multi Kill Electronic Mouse Trap seemed to be a great mouse trap but I am still able to catch them with the old style but plastic traps w/more results.

Customer service at the Home Depot store was great and effeciant.Victor electronic mouse trap was purched on 6/15/2013, delivered in a timely manner, set up according to instructions, checked daily, caught nothing except the spider and web that can be seen in the pictures.Evidence that mice climbed all over the outside of it is also visable.

Living in rural mountains, we have plenty of mice looking for comfy places to move into to stay out of the elements. We never had problem with mice in the house - the project of sealing and caulking the entire house & every crack was worth it (some people may not realize that a mouse needs only about 1/4" to squeeze through). We have no pets, so it is easy to keep the house free of tempting treats for critters. However, once in a while I find mouse evidence under the crawl space or the detached garage, and have to evict them. I have used the "bucket and seed method" in the past and it works, but I wanted a quicker and more humane treatment.
This trap was our solution and it captured a mouse on the third day in the crawl space. (I know it was a mouse, but don't know what kind .. I don't examine them closely). It is so convenient to just remove the drawer and dispose of the contents. Our choice of bait is safflower seeds which we got in a dollar store, very inexpensive (the mice love them and it is less messy than peanut butter). We do make sure there is no alternative food source anywhere in the area first.
I like the design of the trap and it is well made. The two stairways have adequate holes on the tops. A nice feature is the "V" light indicator that shows red, green or yellow and blinks or is steady for each different status (as in pictures) and the status reminder is on the side for easy remembering of what each light means. The only dislike I have is that it does not have the option of a battery eliminator, I prefer the reliability of things being hard-wired. I will eventually convert this to a plug-in trap and keep it primarily in the garage.
I was very pleased with this trap, and the Victor website gives valuable information and tips ("Rodent Proofing") for ensuring success in eliminating any rodent problems.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by meg747 best buy Ive ever made
1st night nothing, second night 12 then 10 on the next night,, I used peanut butter and it works great.. I have dogs and leave food bowls out 24-7 so at night I started covering up the food bowls and that's when mouse traps really worked. Im so glad I bought this I had no idea we had that many mice.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Ernie it's a little slow to work
bought one several months ago and for the first two months I was trapping mice on the glue traps and none on this multi-kill unit so I thought there goes another $100. bucks down the drain until the mice discovered it and "bam" it started bagging them by three in one day, after that I stopped putting out the glue traps because it was catching even the large water bugs. I use the glue traps for all the other insects and such . highly recommend but you must be patient and move it around to different spots in the house till you find the sweet spot . mine is 8 -ft. left of the stove against the wall .

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rainebo Hasn't caught even one!
Have had this product for three weeks now. Followed all directions and tips for baiting and put three traps down in various locations of my home where mice have been spotted. Was really hoping to catch at least a couple in the first week. Three weeks in and nothing has been caught even though I still hear them. One of the areas I know they are in the trap sits empty. So disheartened by this product. I have moved them per people's suggestions to no avail. Feel extremely ripped off!
