Customer service at the Home Depot store was great and effeciant.Victor electronic mouse trap was purched on 6/15/2013, delivered in a timely manner, set up according to instructions, checked daily, caught nothing except the spider and web that can be seen in the pictures.Evidence that mice climbed all over the outside of it is also visable.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LazyBoy2 very effective device as long you add peanut butter to it
I had it about a month ago. At first, it caught several mice over night, then, it started to reduced the number down a lot as the time goes by. Right now, I visually haven't seen any mouse on most days. Right now I'm planning to have our house check to find out how the mice enter the house. My mother caregiver who is not comfortable in having mice run around likes this devises.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MarilynB WORKS GREAT, LOVE IT ! !
Living in rural mountains, we have plenty of mice looking for comfy places to move into to stay out of the elements. We never had problem with mice in the house - the project of sealing and caulking the entire house & every crack was worth it (some people may not realize that a mouse needs only about 1/4" to squeeze through). We have no pets, so it is easy to keep the house free of tempting treats for critters. However, once in a while I find mouse evidence under the crawl space or the detached garage, and have to evict them. I have used the "bucket and seed method" in the past and it works, but I wanted a quicker and more humane treatment.
This trap was our solution and it captured a mouse on the third day in the crawl space. (I know it was a mouse, but don't know what kind .. I don't examine them closely). It is so convenient to just remove the drawer and dispose of the contents. Our choice of bait is safflower seeds which we got in a dollar store, very inexpensive (the mice love them and it is less messy than peanut butter). We do make sure there is no alternative food source anywhere in the area first.
I like the design of the trap and it is well made. The two stairways have adequate holes on the tops. A nice feature is the "V" light indicator that shows red, green or yellow and blinks or is steady for each different status (as in pictures) and the status reminder is on the side for easy remembering of what each light means. The only dislike I have is that it does not have the option of a battery eliminator, I prefer the reliability of things being hard-wired. I will eventually convert this to a plug-in trap and keep it primarily in the garage.
I was very pleased with this trap, and the Victor website gives valuable information and tips ("Rodent Proofing") for ensuring success in eliminating any rodent problems.

Multi Kill Electronic Mouse Trap seemed to be a great mouse trap but I am still able to catch them with the old style but plastic traps w/more results.

Very effective in removing the pests from our home. Within the first day we caught them in each of the units we purchased. Remember to update the bait (we used peanut butter) so the scent is active. Thank you for an effective tool against household pests. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KLeeB7308 Safe for pets and sanitary
I purchased the Multi-Kill Electronic Mouse Trap less than a month ago and so far so good. My main concern was finding a trap that was safe to use around my 2 cats - and this is it. I wasn't sure what kind of mouse issue we had at our new house, but so far we've caught 3 of them between the 3 units I purchased. It's fully contained and the entry points run against the wall - my cats completely ignore it. I have one under my kitchen sink and 2 in the basement. The different lights are helpful to know when a mouse has been caught or to change the batteries (which I haven't had to do yet). I have had to bait the stairs...as I've read in other reviews...and it's been helpful. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a pet-safe product that is sanity (for as sanitary as a mouse trap can be). I have no complaints so far!
