I've been in the market for a good quality bench for my front patio and was considering teak. I use to work for a company who marketed teak furniture so so I am quite familiar with its quality and know it really is the best. However teak is so expensive and I would be heart broken if someone stole it. I decided on this bench after finding good reviews from other sites. It's a light weight bench and the quality is superior to others I've seen on the market. As with most benches it will require a rub down with oils to keep its luster. If you want to purchase a bench cushion, dimensions are 45 inches long x 18 inches wide x 2.5 inches deep. I purchased several cushions before finding the right size and this is it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nicci15 Looks nice but some negatives
I loved the look of this bench online....and it looks pretty nice in person as well. It seems sturdy and was really pretty easy to put together. My only complaint is that the bend seat had a few nicks and scratches when it arrived. The package was not damaged in any way so it was either that way when it was packaged or should have had some padding in the box to prevent the boards from hitting each other in transit. I am thinking a little stain and it should be fine, but it was a little disappointing.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ERF I have already recommended this product to a friend who noted it.
Assembly was easy even for a klutz like me. Assembled in 30 minutes.

Product came well packed but the wood still had numerous dings, dents, worm holes and cracks in it, obviously there when it was shipped. One crack went the whole length of the top rail on the back rest. Almost every screw used to attach the supports was stripped (over-tightened) and had to be replaced and re-glued. Wood is some sort of poor quality Vietnamese wood that is rather soft and with basically a poor washed-on stain/finish that was very rough. Had to sand & refinish everything prior to assembly. Instructions were a single printed drawing of the parts and the finished assembled product. Not too difficult to figure out but be sure not to over-tighten the screws -- they WILL strip out due to the soft wood! Overall, it may last 1-2 years out in the weather unless you put some other weatherproof finish on it first. Basically, not too bad of a bench but, "You get what you pay for...."

I bought the garden bench for a small patio I built. The bench was a perfect fit, plus it is beautiful and comfortable to sit on. I couldn't be happier.

These seem well made and sturdy. We bought two, and had them assembled in about 20 minutes. I had my son apply a layer of stain / sealer because the factory finish looked a little thin. They look nice, are comfortable and sturdy. Hundreds of dollars cheaper than teak.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by EHS can be good with a little extra time and money
The bench was easy to assemble, but was very wobbly front to back at the factory connections. We reinforced the factory connections which worked to sturdy the bench right up. The Color of finish is nice but has blotchy spots and was a very thin coat. We touched it up and added a couple of coats of outdoor lacquer since we will have it outside year round. The bench now looks great and is very sturdy with a little extra time and money.
