We replaced the old PVC prefab shower and tiled the wall with marble and mosaic tile. The order of the shower was delayed due to a backorder but was well worth the wait. Everything was packaged well and all parts were indicated on the parts list.
The shower pan is very thick, heavy duty, not flimsy like a lot of shower bases. This one will hold up well in my eyes. It does have a non slip pebbling to it but can't rate that until we take the maiden shower in it. It looks great though.
The glass walls were a breeze to install and the directions were well written. Had some confusion on how to trim the seals but thanks to good direction we were able to sort it out.
Everything went together smoothly and flawless. I would recommend Vigo showers to anyone wanting a good quality frame-less shower. We also installed a spa shower system and can't wait for the sealant to cure so we can take a nice, long pampered shower.
Now we need to finish the bathroom reno around our shiny new shower!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bonnie LOVE THE VIGO FRAMELESS SHOWER ENCLOSURE
The VIGO shower enclosure was delivered timely in excellent condition. It took my professional installers over 7 hours to install. Now I am totally pleased with the way it looks, and the the way it works. It leaks a little from the door area, but all and all
it is an excellent product. When I need another shower enclosure, I will check to see
if there are any VIGO products available the project.

This is perfect for those installs where custom enclosures are too expensive, yet you still get the look of a custom install. Minimal frame material. 3/8" glass. Very Nice.

I shopped and compared Vigo and Kohler.
Vigo has ss hardware, 3/8" glass and is far less money. Exceptional engineering!

Paying a premium price for something I had to modify to fit. The water seal needs to be trimmed to fit. The support arms needed reaming to make them fit. For the price I shouldn't have to take me Dremel to it. It's not that I'm unable to do those things, its that I shouldn't have to.

We bought this for our downstairs small bathroom because my husband wanted a frameless shower enclosure. My husband is very handy and installed this himself. It took him a full long day to install this and the
front door and side glass piece didn't align perfectly at the top. Where they met in the right corner top area, one
side was up about 1/3 inch higher then the front glass
door. My husband played around with it for a few hours
and was able to get it to about 1/4 inch off. The walls are
level, so we asked a question online about this problem.
They told us that there is an adjustment in the hinges and
that the hinges have to be tight. They gave us Vigo's number to contact them, but my husband is too manly to ask for help. We are very happy with the door, heavy thick glass and it looks nice. The base in a bit thin and cheap and you can actually feel movement when you are
in the shower which we did not have in the past with our
old shower base. After my husband used the shower for the first time where the track and door meet and water was leaking out onto the floor. Our shower head was installed rather high, and the water hits the back wall so that could be part of the problem. Also, that is where the glass door was a bit higher then the front, so I'm not sure if there was a small gap there because of this. My husband used some clear silicone and that seems to
stop the leaking. If it weren't for the thin cheap base, i would have given this a 5 star rating. My advice is get
a professional installer for this shower enclosure.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by KenJ Vigo warranty good
Left a previous review. This is a follow-up. Vigo sent me a slightly smaller door and I was able to make it work by adjusting both magnetic strips. New door is also very flat, unlike the original door. The unit is very modern and classy looking, but it's requires care to keep it looking good. For instance, you have to wipe the inside down after showering and you cannot direct the shower head near the door's magnetic seals. However, the glass doesn't have to be streak and smudge free to still look good, unlike an exterior window pane or mirror. Installation is tricky and you need to dry fit heavy pieces of glass. The unit was made to fit exactly with little wiggle room. The tendency will be to overshoot, which is nearly impossible to correct if every thing is siliconed and screwed into place.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by KenJ Door won't shut!!!
Bought and installed a Vigo 32x48 frameless unit with pivot door. Tolerances are TOO exacting in order for the magnetic seals to function. If the two magnetic seals do not line up perfectly, the door won't shut at all. There is literally NO room for adjustment unless you remove the end wall vinyl seal that is supposed to cap the fixed glass panel where it meets the shower wall. If you elect not to install this vinyl seal, you have to rely totally on silicone. Also, there is little adjustment at the hinges unless you CUT or KNOTCH the protective vinyl water seal that covers the gap between the door and the fixed glass panel supporting it. If you cut/knotch this vinyl strip, the door will leak at the hinges. Instructions say NOT to aim any water at the door EVER!!! How functional is this!!! Oh...didn't mention that the door itself is bowed at least 1/8 inch out of straight across its length.
