I like the design; sleek and simple. It matches faucet and sink nicely. The pumping action is smooth, but it isn't continuous (after one pump of soap, it kind of has to "reset" to pump fully again). It's a minor annoyance, though, and I am used to it now, so it doesn't really bother me. The price was right and it works adequately. DYI idea (borrowed from a friend): I purchased a long tube to replace the tube that comes with the pump. I put my big ole' jug of Costco dish soap under the sink and fed the tube into that. No refiling that teeny bottle! :-)

The pump mechanism and metal is of good quality but this pump does have its flaws.
The under sink washer is rubber so doesn't seat snug. Even using a wrench to tighten initially, just screwing the bottle on the bottom loosened the pump. Also, the pump spins freely without any resistance so the spout tends to turn away from the sink. This results in needing to turn it forward frequently and potential for spilling concentrated soap on the counters making a mess.

Very easy to pump and looks great in my newly remodeled kitchen. Couldn't be easier to refill. Overall very satisfied with this soap dispenser.

Went in easy. Seems like it won't break. And this review requires me to say more.....

Works as expected at a fair price. Let's face it, a soap dispenser shouldn't cost $50+ in the first place which made this one an easy choice.

This was easy to install, easy to fill, and it looks great. I needed to add a little water to the soap to make it flow.

So far, works as expected to dispense hand soap. The dispenser is better looking and less expensive than competitors.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MIMINQ GREAT QUALITY FOR A REASONABLE PRICE
I have only used this soap dispenser for a day but so far it seems to do the job well. In the past I have had a commercial soap dispenser that dribbled all the time and the last dispenser I had self destructed because of an unbreakable suction that would occur between the pump mechanism and the bottle. The VIGO soap pump puts out as little or as much soap as you want. No other pump has had that kind of volume control. I watched my plumber install the soap dispenser and helped him hold it down when he was tightening it under the sink...this pump is well made and I am happy with the price I paid for it which was 1/3 of the cost the German-American one that was problematic from day one. I do have a suggestion. The length of the spout tube is a bit long for my hands. I wear a medium size hospital exam glove so my hands aren't that small and I have long fingers. For one handed soap pumping, I have to stretch my hands while holding the sponge and it is a bit of a stretch. The VIGO pump's skinny spout is 2 3/4 inch in length. While my old soap dispenser's spout was 2 inches length. Maybe making the spout a little shorter for future models would save the company some money by saving on the cost of a bit of stainless steel. I am impressed with the construction (not plasticy..the bottle is plastic but you can buy a model with a metal bottle) of the dispenser and now I am impressed with its performance.
