Customer Questions & Answers

will this work with a cast iron top mount sink ? photo's only show with under mount sinks.

Asked by: stormy
Should work fine as long as the hold diameter is right and the surface around the hole is flat. The faucet has a heavy rubber seal hidden in the base which should seal properly against a porcelain sink.

Can the sprayer be pulled out farther than what is seen in the pictures?

Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Stainless Steel is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 309.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible is too good of a word for this product I've had this faucet installed for about 6-months now. It takes too long for the temperature to mix from hot to cold or cold to hot. The sprayer pulls loose easily and water sprays all over your ceiling. You are better off leaving the sprayer in its mount/holder - the sprayer hose isnt screwed or clamped, rather it just feeds onto a small tube and is held in place by tension... it will come loose if you pull or tug while using the sprayer. As design flaws go - i cant imagine why the spray hose is so precariously attached. Also not much clearance around the water mix control. You cant have anything near it and still have it operate,

Every couple weeks the spray hose disconnects unexpectantly and water ends up spraying everywhere ... floors, walls, ceiling countertops. It seems like a very bad design and the connections seem like they should be actually screwed together to avoid such incidents. The next time this occurs, I'm returning to Home Depot and hoping for a refund. I do not have a receipt as I just bought this house and the prior owners had done a total rehab including this faucet. This faucet is a huge failure so far for me.

The friction fitting between the spray hose and the faucet is an enormous design flaw that one would not expect to see on a $300 faucet, which is otherwise very nice. It begins by popping of at random when using the spray hose, soaking your ceiling, cabinets and counter tops in the process. A week after install, it now pops off even when I'm using the pot filler and not even touching the hose. I would be embarrassed to put something like this out to the world.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from New design is disappointing I put this pull down sprayer in my previous house and loved it so much. When we moved, I absolutely had to put it in my new home. Unfortunately I did not notice the new design until after it was installed. The old design had a shut off at the end of the pan filler thus you could use the sprayer without wasting water. This new design no longer gives you that option. It's really disappointing and I would not have purchased this had I noticed. The faucet is such high quality and beautiful. Too bad it now wastes water too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great with only 1 issue We recently remodeled our kitchen. I always wanted a farm sink with one of these types of faucets. It is beautiful & functions as I hoped, with 1 issue. It has only been installed by a professional plumber for about3 weeks now & the pot filler faucet and drips whenever the pull-down spray faucet is on. It just started to do this in the past 3 days. Disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best features of a kitchen remodel We have been using this faucet for over a year now. My wife likes this faucet more and more as time goes by. The spray function is extremely powerful. The dishes are almost completely clean after a spray rinse. We had one minor problem which was quickly and easily remedied by Vigo customer service. I would highly rate both the product and service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional and Aesthetic I've had this installed for a few weeks now. The build quality is top notch. All moving parts are solid but smooth. Having a separate head for the flex/sprayer is wonderful for reduced complication of having a pull-out type hose. Each arm can be quickly moved around as needed. I'm very happy with this product.
