Customer Questions & Answers

will this work with a cast iron top mount sink ? photo's only show with under mount sinks.

Asked by: stormy
Should work fine as long as the hold diameter is right and the surface around the hole is flat. The faucet has a heavy rubber seal hidden in the base which should seal properly against a porcelain sink.

Can the sprayer be pulled out farther than what is seen in the pictures?

Asked by: Robotfist
No. The sprayer has somewhat limited motion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just received Have not installed the faucet yet, but the packaging is great! The assembly seems simple and the main pieces are in separate cloth bags. Can't wait to start using!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible is too good of a word for this product I've had this faucet installed for about 6-months now. It takes too long for the temperature to mix from hot to cold or cold to hot. The sprayer pulls loose easily and water sprays all over your ceiling. You are better off leaving the sprayer in its mount/holder - the sprayer hose isnt screwed or clamped, rather it just feeds onto a small tube and is held in place by tension... it will come loose if you pull or tug while using the sprayer. As design flaws go - i cant imagine why the spray hose is so precariously attached. Also not much clearance around the water mix control. You cant have anything near it and still have it operate,

There are two minor things that kept me from giving this a 5 star rating. The first is the handle kept coming unscrewed from the assembly when turned on and off. A slight use of pliers to tighten it stopped that (had to be careful to keep from scratching the finish). The second, and more of a concern, is where the spray handle attached to the supply hose. It kept loosening and leaking. I ended up using Teflon tape on the threads and tightening with slip lock pliers, again being careful not to scratch the finish. That was a couple of months ago and everything is holding up so far.

Every couple weeks the spray hose disconnects unexpectantly and water ends up spraying everywhere ... floors, walls, ceiling countertops. It seems like a very bad design and the connections seem like they should be actually screwed together to avoid such incidents. The next time this occurs, I'm returning to Home Depot and hoping for a refund. I do not have a receipt as I just bought this house and the prior owners had done a total rehab including this faucet. This faucet is a huge failure so far for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaking Purchased in July, installed in August and has been leaking ever since. Had a plumber come out and look at it thinking it was the install that was wrong - turns out the ball inside that helps with the pressure (as noted in other reviews) and such is too small thus pushing water out through the industrial - looking hose. Wish there was a fix for this as we liked the look in our new updated kitchen. Looks like I"ll have to replace.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the best features of a kitchen remodel We have been using this faucet for over a year now. My wife likes this faucet more and more as time goes by. The spray function is extremely powerful. The dishes are almost completely clean after a spray rinse. We had one minor problem which was quickly and easily remedied by Vigo customer service. I would highly rate both the product and service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SO FAR, so good I purchased this faucet after searching through multiple sites and visiting a few local stores. There are many options, each more expensive than the last. The real issues for me were quality of materials used, functionality, and aesthetics. This faucet checked all of our boxes. We had it professionally installed by a plumber friend, who liked the faucet so much he bought one for his own home. The faucet is heavy, and made of high quality materials (e.g. steel). All of the equally expensive faucets carried in stores are a cheap molded plastic material that looks the part, but is ultimately a quality let down. So far, this faucet has been a huge hit, we recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great so far My husband and I got this faucet recently and just installed it ourselves. No too hard to install. The only problem we had was that the hot and cold water hoses that came with it were about an inch short. Other than that we are happy with our purchase.
