Answer:
As of 1/15/2016 we have changed the design of our VG02007, which has been updated on our sites and I believe our vendor sites as well. The design was changed so that the pot filler goes on and then you can divert to sprayer. The reason for the change is because customers where leaving the main valve on and leaving the house causing pressure to build up and damaging the faucet internally.

Answer:
The VG02007 faucet has a diverter, so you can only use one function at a time.

with the design change on the pot filler, is it possible to have the water on to use the sprayer without the pot filler going on and off while the sprayer is in use and not in use

Answer (1)

Answer:
The design change for the VG02007 kitchen faucet now has a diverter. The pot filler will automatically come on when you turn on the faucet. The pot filler will shut off anytime the sprayer is in use. The diverter will automatically switch to the option being used at that time.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 206 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Installation hardware needs beefing up, GREAT FAUCET!! I have never used such a versatile faucet either in domestic or commercial food service, however the person who did this installation, a hands on engineer in the food industry, was very frustrated and close to jettisoning. The screws to attach the faucet to the sink are flimsy and barely covered the predrilled holes in this Moen brand sink, topside the deck plate also barely covers those holes and is very thin gauge stainless steel; he could find no way to seal the plate from leaking thru to the cabinet below. I have kept that cabinet empty to monitor for any moisture or drips. Less than a week since installed and no time at home so can not tell if the seal where the faucet meets the sink will be an issue, but certain sure hope it does not because the faucet itself is wonderful!!! Of all the features available in a faucet this includes the most by far. It seems sturdily made and I am confident it will serve me, an avid cook, many many years. It seems to be easy to clean, unscrew the spray wand and slip off the spring then wash them in the sink and wipe the bare hose clean. The hose was a pleasant surprise also, the woven stainless steel is encased in clear plastic. In some other brands I considered the weave was not protected and looked like it would take bristles to get grime out of it. I was considering a similar Kraus brand faucet but learned in reviews it was modified so that both the pot filler and spray wand could not be used simultaneously, which you can do with this Vigo faucet. Also the spray head can be locked on for hands free use, a feature lacking in many other faucets. I have a shallow welled Moen sink, 5" and 7" deep, yet fully opened there is no splash back. I tested it by undocking the spray head, locked open its control then turned water pressure to full and was amazed to find the hose barely bobbed and no splashes outside of the sink. It does take a bit of pressure to pivot the spray hose, a good feature that keeps it where you want it, grasping the spring at the ring above the sprayer works easiest for positioning it. The pot filler has a narrow aerated stream that remains tight right down to the sink bottom and also is splashless when it strikes there fully opened. I can adjust it to the finest of trickles for mixing flour into gravy paste, easiest done by opening the pot filler tap fully then adjusting the main control. The food engineer installer thinks it a great faucet, much impressed, but wary of it remaining in place, I plan to use it gently, I have no children at home so think it will hold up fine. I look forward to it easing clean up chores and rave about it to all my friends, showing them photos of it, lol. December 3, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy for wheelchair users My son, a computer geek, not a plumber, installed this for me without issue. I am confined to a wheelchair and this makes cooking and clean up so much easier. March 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SO FAR, so good I purchased this faucet after searching through multiple sites and visiting a few local stores. There are many options, each more expensive than the last. The real issues for me were quality of materials used, functionality, and aesthetics. This faucet checked all of our boxes. We had it professionally installed by a plumber friend, who liked the faucet so much he bought one for his own home. The faucet is heavy, and made of high quality materials (e.g. steel). All of the equally expensive faucets carried in stores are a cheap molded plastic material that looks the part, but is ultimately a quality let down. So far, this faucet has been a huge hit, we recommend. March 29, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not as happy as I thought I would be Faucet looks great. Got it to go with my 36" farmhouse sink. Super big (tall) and maybe just a little too big in my opinion. We have had a few issues with it and will more than likely be returning it. Issues we have had are that it's super loud when the water is turned on all the way, much louder than a normal sink. Makes a whirring sound. Also the handle for the spray nozzle loosens easily, causing it to leak. I feel like I always have to tighten it. As far as using it, the line for the sprayer seems really tight, not that easy to move around. I always feel like I'm going to yank it right out of the counter top. My other gripe is that you have three separate controls to turn the water on. You have the main lever to turn on the water, but noting comes on until you turn the lever for pot filler or squeeze the handle for the sprayer. Not the worst thing ever, but kind of hard to get used to as with a normal faucet you turn the water on and there is instantly water, but with this faucet there is an extra step. For the price I was hoping to be a little more satisfied with it than I am. March 1, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice look and price Bought this on line as I was needing a stainless steel replacement for our existing faucet. This had a sturdy look about it and appeared would be useful in the kitchen. When it arrived I found it easy to assemble and install. The most difficult part of the effort was removing my existing faucet. It is very handy and works perfectly. The pull down spray handle is very handy and I really like that both the high pressure and spray handle can swing, this is very handy. I do wish that the spray handle holder extended past the high pressure head, this would prevent you having the remove the spray handle when you wanted to move it across the high pressure head. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Residential faucet w/ Industrial feel We are pretty happy with this faucet. It was at the top of our price range but it has a nice dual water function that I have found very handy. The construction seems sturdy too, so that is a plus. I would buy this faucet again if I had another renovation. January 13, 2015
