You don't always get what you pay for - sometimes you get much, much more! We were delighted by the quality of this sink for the price.

We have had the sink for less than a month and so far so good. It is nice and deep at 10 inches, and we love that the corners are rounded which makes cleanup easier. The only cons with this sink are that it scratches rather easily, and the water spots are always visible (see photo). Otherwise though, this is a great sink and has more than enough room to fit all of our dirty dishes!!!

I purchased this sink as part of kitchen remodel, when the countertop supplier indicated that the “free” 18ga single basin SS sink is not suited for a “flush” edge detail. After speaking with the guy at the shop he indicated that most of the “free” sinks (thrown in with countertops), are mass produced, stamped sinks that primarily come from China. As a result, the manufacturing tolerances are greater and the alloys are typically weaker, both of which prevents making zero radius corners, which are needed for flush mount edge details (it has something to do with something to do with Poisson’s Ratio). Since I wanted a true flush edge, I knew I was going to have to find a higher quality sink, that was better suited for the job.
Luckily, I was able to find the Vigo VGR3019CK1, which was perfect for a flush mount installation; it possessed a zero radius lip, but had the 25 mm radius corners for the sides and bottom of the sink. The rounded corners for the sides is important because the milling process of many solid surface countertops use carbide bits for making cuts outs, these bits cannot make a zero radius turn, so you will have a bit of a rounded inside corner…..if the corners of your sink are zero radius, you will have an overhang at each corner. In truth, the bit used to cut my quartz counter top was not able to exactly match the corner of the sink, but the overhang is nearly invisible to someone who does not know it’s there. Plus, the rounder corners on the bottom make the bowl easier to clean.
The rack is really nice, and helps prevents scratches on the bottom of the bowl, and it was nearly a perfect fit ….the drain opening is off by mere millimeters to where the drain is located, again not enough to be noticed by most people. I installed a garbage disposal, so I did not get to use the included drain/ strainer, but it looks nice and appears to be constructed well.
The rear drain location is also quite nice, as it opens up more storage area under your sink; the only drawback is that it does pose an additional plumbing concern when it comes to installing S-traps and p-traps, especially when you are installing a disposal. Fortunately I was doing a new install, so I had the luxury of placing my P-trap underneath the main level.
Overall, I am incredibly impressed with this sink; it looks sharp and fits beautifully for the flush mount edge detail my wife wanted. The only drawback is the lack of accessories for this sink, something like a fitted removable divider or a dish rack would have been nice.

This is a great stainless steel sink! We have had it a year, and it still looks brand new. The size is great for a kitchen sink, and it drains really well. The rack that comes with it helps keep the bottom from scratching. Our countertop installers installed it in a granite top and had no problems. We hooked up a disposal to it without any problems either. I would highly recommend it.

There's not much that can go wrong with a sink, and this one worked well. The steel was a decent thick gauge so even though I used an unconventional mounting method, it worked just fine. The finish is nice too. I still have no idea why it cost so much, but sinks just all seem to be crazily expensive.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TmcLean The perfect sink!
This sink is simply perfect for us. Here's why: First, we ordered online and had it shipped to HD. The packaging was incredible. It was a super strong box, custom foam, and the sink was enclosed in a large fabric bag inside it all! Flawless.
We did away with the old two-basin sink. The new large basin allows for so much more, such as large pots, cookie sheets, babies, or dogs! I got the style with slightly rounded inside edges and corners. It is easier to clean compared to the sharp squared corners.
The sink comes with a protective grate for the bottom. My neighbor didn't have a grate and he has scratched his sink in several places on the bottom. Lastly, it is a thicker gauge with a sound coating on the underside. Noise is minimal. Great price compared to many others as well! Love it.
