I want to install a 3/4 hp disposal on the sink. Will there be any problem with viberation?

Asked by: Anonymous
You shouldnt have a problem with this sink, but as a rule of thumb it is always better to get a thicker sink to minimize vibrations but as I said this sink will do fine

Iwas told that few sinks are capable of under laminate mounting due to the adhesion and laminate not able to stick to the sink.Is this true ?

Asked by: Anonymous
I dont usually see a laminate counter with an undermount sink due to the fact that it just lets more water get to the underlying pressed wood which gets ruined almost immediately when it comes in contact with water, but you are using mounting brackets for under mount sinks not adhesive and mounting brackets will do fine as long as they are installed properly. And dont forget to put silicone around to make the seal.

I have a 25" cabinet x 22" deep. Will this sink installed allow enough space for a faucet placed behind it?

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes that should fit but if you are thinking of putting a backsplash it will be a pretty tight fit. You might want to also think of the option of placing the faucet in the corner of the sink or on the side, it gives the kitchen a different sense of style, all while making it work for you.

Two problems: (1) The spray head takes two hands to separate from the faucet, one to pull the spray head down and the other to brace the faucet (it takes that much force). (2) The single lever valve rotates through 90 degrees, 45 degrees each side of top dead center. In a typical center-rear installation, rotating the lever back for cold water the lever will hit the back splash or wall. The lever cant be re-positioned to work any other way, you could shorten the lever, or drill and tap a new hole on the cylindrical part, or just rotate the faucet base so the lever faces front. All other faucets I've looked at avoid this problem by having the lever rotate 90deg from 12'oclock to 3 o'clock. These two issues are causing us to replace the unit after only two months of use. Hope this helps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Chic looking , buy only if you have over 24" depth counter, or you can install the faucet from the back of the sink I agree with previous reviewers warning of which I wish I listen to . While the sink maximize a 30" cabinet, the depth Is 20 " , so it leaves barely enough room for the faucet at the back , and cannot install bullnose for the kitchen window for a 24" counter . While it is nice to have a 10" deep sink , as it is so narrow at the back, the plumber has a hard time installing the faucet . Like previous reviewer find out , the bottom is flat , water and food scrapes do not drain on its own. But I choose this sink for the size n depth and the chic square shape , but it has its down side Recommend to use if you have counter deeper than 24 " It is 16 guage , so time will tell if it is better . Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the Price This sink looks beautiful. Love the grids that protect the bottom from being scratched. For the money, a great buy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish I had known I love the depth of the sink. I am happy with the faucet. The reasons I gave it a four instead of five are because the food gets trapped over the grate. If the spray mode is on while attached it sends the water splashing back at your chest. All and all I like it.
