Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by skaizun Easy to use; beautiful results
Easy to open with a single-edge razor blade, I cut it along the width, then poured it at the highest point where I wanted it, then spread it with gloved hands (the stones have edges, but aren't sharp, but, can be difficult to touch/move with bare hands), down the slope (much easier to work top-down!). The photos indicate how many bags were used for the given area. The results were beautiful. If weeds are an issue, remove all debris and old stones, etc, then fill-in gaps with top soil or sand, then put down a weed barrier (burlap, plastic, etc), then layout the stones. While my 1999 full-sized sedan handled ten bags (about 300 pounds) with little problem, I wouldn't recommend it for smaller cars, unless you intend on making multiple trips, so, get a friend with a large car or pick-up truck to help you!

Listen...the line of "the easy way to do things" kinda dudes starts directly behind this guy. Work smarter and not harder, right? I knew after I emptied my first bag of these white marble chips that I had made the most amazingly simple yet very effective landscape decision!! They've enhanced my patio / pool area better than I could've ever imagined! Nice product - decently priced - highly effective - extremely simple!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gardener1004 Beautiful white rock
I've been dreaming of my succulent garden with white rock but it's usually so expensive...it was finally on sale for $3/bag and I bought 20 bags. Such a great buy, so much better than mulch since that seems to disappear over time. It's such a pretty white, highly recommend! Waiting for the next sale to buy more!

I have used these for the past couple years and they work great especially against black mulch. Just be warned that you probably need way more bags than you think. The front of the bag lists how many bags are needed for various square feet.
They typically go on sale a couple of times a year for $1.84 which is a great price.

We have rocks backyard around some stepping stones. I added several bags of new, white rocks which really freshened up the backyard. An EASY do-it-yourself project.

These are not white. They are a mixture of white, light grey and dark grey. Don't expect to have a white project when your done. The rocks are coated with white dust which makes them appear white when you look at them in the store. The dust washes away. The "White Marble Chips" on the bag is misleading.
