3 ft. x 50 ft. Polypropylene Weed Barrier Landscape Fabric (2-Rolls) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from No More Weeds! I had not used a weed barrier product like this before so I was somewhat skeptical. However, I have been extremely pleased with the results. I have installed it after weeding my flower beds and I placed a couple of inches of mulch on top of the barrier sheeting cut to fit around the plantings. So far, no issues with weeds poking through. I am going to expand my use of this product to other flower beds in my yard. This will really reduce the maintenance time in your flower beds. It is worth the price and the effort. It goes in easily. Regular scissors are all that is need to cut the sheets. It could not be easier. If you run out of stakes (they do supply some with the rolls but your usage may require more), you can make some of your own with wire cutters and old wire coat hangers bent in the same shape or just use some small rocks to hold the sheets in place until you put down some mulch over the sheets. Kick back and enjoy some extra time you will be saving in the long run by not having to weed those beds!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Apparently durable stuff. This landscape fabric appears to be good, sturdy stuff. It appears to be woven polyethylene rather than spun. I'm installing it under a layer of coarse gravel. I had some concern that it was too impermeable to avoid puddling after a rain storm, but after a few heavy rains, it appears to allow good drainage. Too soon yet to tell about durability, but so long as it is protected from UV, I expect it to last quite a while.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective weed control. Durable fabric. I used Vigoro Polypropylene Weed Barrier as a patio base and also in my flower beds and vegetable garden to control weeds and maintain a well-manicured look. This lightweight, flexible product lays into place and is easily trimmed with a sharp pair of cutting shears, knife or box cutter, but is sturdy enough that you can’t cut or tear it by hand without exerting a great deal of effort. I expected this product to be more plastic-like but it looks and feels like fabric and is more durable than the vinyl products I’ve used in the past. Professional plant nurseries and greenhouses roll the fabric out on top of soil that’s amended with plenty of nutrient-rich organic matter and cut holes into the fabric where plantings will go, but for landscaping, I use anchoring staples (included) to hold the fabric in place, again over a well amended soil with plenty of nutrient-rich organic matter, while installing a layer of bark mulch, manure, topsoil, sand, etc. on top of the fabric. With the fabric buried, weeds and saplings will form in the topsoil, but the weed barrier slows their growth by preventing them from taking a firm root beneath the fabric, so they are easily removed without the use of gardening tools. The fabric is porous enough to allow water to flow through, so it can be used in flower beds and vegetable gardens. I plan to purchase several more rolls of this product to place under my deck to control weeds. I’m very satisfied with the performance of this product and recommend it to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy To Use We dug out the ivy that was growing over our sidewalk and used this weed barrier to hopefully prevent the ivy from taking over again. It was very easy to roll out and cut to fit the area and seems to be of good quality. It has the feel of fabric .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Weed Barrier The Vigoro landscape fabric is very effective. Dense enough to provide good weed control, but porous enough to allow water to pass through to the roots of your plants. I just finished re-doing a large section of landscape in my back yard, and I am happy to say that the fabric is working like a charm. The only places where I have any weed poke-through are spots where I had placed the fabric staples at one point and then moved them to another spot, leaving a few pair of approx. 1/8" holes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as promised Tears easily but best to use a scissor for a straight edge. does keep down the weeds and let water through. This time I used it to keep the grass from growing up through the sand on a patio that I just constructed for the grill. On top of the sand I put concrete 12 x 12 tiles and wanted to make sure the grass and weeds don't grow through over time. So far so good.
