Rated 4 out of 5Â by Sandra So far, so good
Needed a lot of mulch and instead of buying a smaller amount of mulch with a higher price and having to carry it from the store, unload it etc., this was much more convenient. So far, it is what I expected. Looks and feels like rubber mulch. Can't comment on durability of the product at this time because I haven't had it long enough. If it looks the same as it does now in several years, I will be pleased. The color of the mulch is very vibrant at this time and it looks better than wood mulch to me. The only problems with the mulch so far are occasional pieces of metal from the recycled tires and the rubber smell. If you could order it in bulk in smaller packages instead of one large package, that would have been perfect.

I like this product a lot except for a few items:
1. Found a lot of fiber stuff that looks like a really furry sweater that a cat shredded.
2. Since this product is a little heavier than regular mulch it will cover a lot less area. I did used a couple of mulch calculators and thought that 1,000 lbs would easily cover one large flower bed but I came up very short. Make sure you use a 'rubber mulch calculator' to figure out how many pounds you need!
Other than those two items this item is great!

The product was exactly what I was looking for. The color is vibrant and it feels like it has more weight to it than regular mulch so hopefully it will stay in place. I can't comment yet on the longevity of the color but I'm hoping it will last close to the 12 year color warranty.

we have replenished the mulch since we have purchased. the color is not as vibrant as it was when we originally purchased it. It is easier to apply and to walk on.

I bought some of this stuff and when Fall came, I was in a real quandary. I found that I had to pick through it all by hand to get all leaves and other debris off and then re bag .
What does everyone else do?
