Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Super handy! I was thrilled to find a product that had everything I needed to stake my new baby tree. I know that I could have easily purchased nylon thread, a hose, and stakes individually, but here's the thing: I would have to CUT my hose in order to have the protective portion which rest against my tree. I'm not a fan of purchasing something just to destroy it. I also would have to had purchase FAR more nylon than necessary for the project. It was so nice having everything there and ready to go for such a low price. When compared with the price of a tree, it was minimal. I did, however purchase my own 5-foot stakes, because I live in a windy area, and knew the ones provided wouldn't last over time. But hey, they were included! October 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Marginal Two of the three stakes broke when carefully driving them. Rope is cheap polypropylene, and I doubt it will last a year in the sun. Do yourself a favor, buy some metal tent stakes, rope, and vinyl hose instead. October 7, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Flimsy stakes but it does the job I used this kit to stake a 4' eastern redbud. The tree is small and the branches/trunk very thin so I wanted to provide support. The stakes are pretty cheap and one actually broke one by accidentally stepping on it. By pounding it further into the ground, it added more stability. The directions are simple and installing it was pretty easy. The rubber tubes that protect the tree from the rope are pretty much the size of garden hose. With that, they are big for this skinny tree but I made it work. I left a little bit of slack in the ropes. September 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tree stake for small branch Stake a small branch tree I purchased from Home Depot, Dogwood. Just right for that 1/2 inch branch. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy with how this product is performing Tree was beginning to lean due to fast growth brought on by excess rain. Purchased a staking kit from Home Depot, found it easy to set up/install, especially like the cushioning wrap that secures around tree as it does not harm the trunk. June 1, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good for the price. Comes with everything you need. Only wish the stakes were a little longer and better made. The stakes are flimsy and with the Hard clay ground they don't holdup too well. Used some heavy duty 12" ones I already had. For the price this has done the job I expected. Holding newly planted tree up when the wind hits. August 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tree Staking Kit The Vigoro Tree Staking Kit was very effective. It was easy to use and cost effective. September 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Seems to do the job well! I priced out the kit's components separately before deciding to buy this and it turns out it was less expensive to just get this kit. There's not much too it and it's pretty easy to install. I do wish the stakes were a tad longer since they tend to pull up if there's a lot of wind blowing the small tree we used this for.
