Customer Questions & Answers

Replacement parts

Can you provide a manufacturers phone & address to get repair parts? The orange buttons to release the catches on the folding legs have broken off. both ends. Thanks
Asked by: Bert
Cannot answer as I could see the buttons & the braces are not strong enough for the table. I'm not surprised they broke off. I returned the workbench as i could see the flaws.

TwoFold 63 in. x 24 in. x 32 in. Workbench and Scaffold is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 62.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice workbench and step stool I ordered this from Home Depot's website. It is the same workbench and step stool advertised by Griot's Garage. I was looking for a workbench and/or step stool to use when detailing my cars. This one was ideal. It serves two purposes -- a step stool and a workbench. This product works nicely as both. It is completely collapsible, and I store it against the wall of the garage with some velcro ties. It has an adequate surface area on which to work -- probably just enough to fit a 10-12 inch miter saw or place a dozen or so spray bottles and my dual action polisher when working with these items. It has a power strip that allows one to plug in 2 (3?) 110v tools; this is very convenient. When used as a step stool, this gives me plenty of height. Although it is advertised as being able to hold the weight of an adult standing on it when it is a workbench, I haven't tried that yet. One star knocked off because it is a little heavy. But, it's durable and I'd buy it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for the shop. Folds away easily. This bench has a lot going for it. It has a power bar built into it which is very useful for using corded tools on top of it. It can be set to two heights. It folds down very slim to be stored away. It has two sides which can be used as the working surface. Once set up it is pretty stable and will support my mitre saw easily. Even though this is a folding bench I do not find it very mobile or compact. With the legs folded down it is thin but it is still rather long and tall to move around. It does store away nicely when folded down so in that regard the folding aspect is useful. The legs are solid once secured but they do not move into place very smoothly. There are plastic caps which keep popping out of place when ever I lengthen the leg height. This is a good work shop bench, once set up it is very useful and it provides a lot of surface space for your work. If your after a shop bench then check it out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Universal work bench I think this will turn out to be a helpful part of my tool cache. I agree with some that it is a little heavy, but I also think that is part of it's sturdiness. I am a general contractor so I already have plenty of scaffolding and the like. I purchased this specifically for my personal use when I go out to do little jobs and I don't want to bring saw horses and a piece of plywood. The electrical outlets are a great bonus. I despise having one extension cord out and several tools so you keep having to keep changing hook up's

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wasn't sure about buying this I have three large bulky work benches in my garage, but needed one to move around the house and yard for projects. When my son pulled out one of my expensive folding tables I use for holidays to make a cast for a halo helmet I freaked and decided it was time to invest in a portable table. This table surprised me. I liked the idea that it converted to a mini scaffold. I am building a light fixture that will also function as a decorative piece on the ceiling of the front room. Climbing up and down the ladder with plaster trowels and forms was a huge pain. The scaffold gives even a short person like me enough boost to reach my project with little effort and is long enough for me to move back and forth without having to reposition. Then to find out the table has outlets, tool caddys and rulers..... I was one happy camper! The legs lock into place and are quite sturdy. For me it was just great for around the house jobs and my son's projects. I don't think this is something for 'on the job' folks but for the price it's great for my needs. There was a loose piece of plastic that came out of the box that home depot insists it was part of the packaging, because it didn't show on the pics and they couldn't find it on a store piece. I'm keeping it just the same. other than that it seems to be working well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A really great portable workbench! I bought this to use as a portable workbench. Since I rent I didn't want to invest in building a workbench that would be difficult to move with me so I purchased this one after much research. Here's what I think about it: 1. Weight I'm a fairly small guy (5/6"). And this thing weighs just enough to be sturdy under you (I'm 195lbs) while being still easy to move. It would be heavy for my wife to move, but not prohibitively so. She could move it but I would be more work for her to do so. Not bad at all for any strong lady or average man. 2. Sturdy This is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. The workbench uses a bracing system that works fairly well but I've had it pop out of place once (did not cause failure because the other was still holding) but I would like to see it lock in to place better. Considering that the saffold isn't that high off the ground it doesn't really worry me at all, but you do want to make sure those braces are set well before getting on and don't be doing any jumping jacks on it. That being said, it feels solid when you're standing on it. I had myself and a buddy (he's 250lbs) on it at the same time and we felt secure (that's almost 450 pounds! combined!) 3. Versatility I bought it primarily to use as a base for my 12" compound sliding miter saw. I found that I can secure the saw using clamps on the front feet and it holds it REALLY well! the bench is solid to work on and it's a comfortable height. I started working on a project and also found it's at perfect "desk" height for me to sketch out plans sitting on my stool. Worked out great! The tool caddy on it is more useful than I expected it to be as well! I use it regularly to hold my pencils and tape measures. All in all, great product that I'm happy that I bought!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad, but could be better... So I'll start with the good...The table is very well built. Sturdy on both sides, solid construction, fit and finish is good. It'll be a very useable work station for me. I'm happy with the purchase in that regard. If I had to do it again, FOR WHAT I NEED, I might consider something different. That's not a knock on the product, just that it's not what I was expecting/looking for. The built-in power strip, drilling hole, and storage cups are very smart and well thought out. More on why it wasn't what I was expecting...It's HEAVY. I wouldn't consider this a very portable work station. It's portable in that the legs fold and it has a handle, but it's far less portable than a fold-up tailgate table (what I was using before), or something like the Keter Folding table (which I also bought after this didn't fit my needs). If I used this professionally, and it was something I needed to throw in a truck, unload, set up on-site and leave for a few weeks, it'd be great. As a homeowner who just wants to pop it up for a few quick projects, then collapse and store, it's too heavy and bulky. If you need something small and portable with quick set-up/take-down, get the Keter Table. My only other complaint is that when they shipped it, the finish on the work surface didn't appear to have dried. Subsequently, the manual, and some of the Styrofoam packing stuck to the work surface and left paper/foam all over it. I ultimately had to sand the entire surface smooth with a power sander (and subsequently sand off the measurement guides printed on the surface) to get the paper and foam off. Just a cosmetic thing.
