Customer Questions & Answers

I need to have stair railings, do you have them for this railing?

Asked by: Hal
Bend it first on the angle you want it, then measure where you are going to have it placed. Mine will be on the very top of the porch, down to just the walk way before the step. thats where I will put my floor flange. Then after you measure it, you use a hacksaw to cut the one end off, but go so measure twice, do top then bottom before your cut is not to short. Then screw it together. I hope they will let this video go threw to show, theres no audio, just pictures and words on the screen on how to do it. Copy and Paste it into your address bar at top. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myOiQKSKNyE

do you do corners i need to make a 15' run and two returns of 2' ? For a outdoor balcony

Asked by: Martyn1234
There are two methods to create a corner. 1) use the 3S Corner Column or 2) Align the two railing sections at 45 degree angle to each other, using the ND125 connector kit. drill a matching hole into the Newel Post to connect to the ND125 connecting kit. Thank you for contacting Village Iron Smith ... All Metropolitan panels are 36" high. All of the 32" panels (Classic) have the twisted spindle, not straight. Please call Technical Services at 800-211-9612, M-F 8A-5P ET, with any additional questions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Completely rusted out in 6 yrs Installed this railing on a porch and stairs as a cheap alternative to wrought iron. Completely rusted out and falling apart after 6 yrs. Flanges are falling apart and everything thing is a complete rusty mess and disintegrating into nothing. Need to replace because it has no support to it anymore. Buyer beware. If I feel like taking pics I will post them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not well constructed By the time we got the rail up and in place, One of the slats was already coming loose at the bottom.we were not rough or careless. That slat fell off and we has dt glue it back as we were not going to take the rail down. Now I see another rail worked loose the same way. Would NOT recommend
