Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Transaction Very thick vinyl. We bought it to go over our windows, on the inside, for the winter. I have kitties, so needed something that wouldn't easily tear. One has already pawed a bunch at one window with plastic over it, and no punctures! The plastic is a bit difficult to cut into even squares/rectangles (they turn out more like parallelograms because of the way the plastic lays not completely flat, but somewhat bubbled). On most windows it worked great. On one, it fell down. But we think the tape was pulled too much on that one trying to get the plastic taught. Still have several more windows to go. In theory, the pieces should be reuseable for next year. The tape sticks unusually well to the plastic though. So, either it's going to stay on the edges when reused, or the edges will have a lot of adhesive film on them, as we saw when trying to redo some of the tape. The plastic is quite clear, as you may be able to see by my photos. Not as clear as a newly washed glass window, but far more clear than the foggy plastic used as drop cloths. December 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by You won't be dissipointed. I bought this vinyl to inclose a three season room. I installed this vinyl into window frames i made and i am very satisfied with this product. It is clear, heavy duty, and was package very well. I would definitely buy again. April 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good product for the price The 16 mil vinyl is very thick, and looks a lot nicer than I expected. My one problem is that the end was not exactly square, so I lost about a foot from having to cut the sheet square. This is a very good temporary window, if you install it correctly and understand that there will be wrinkles no matter what you do. September 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Thick and See-Thru! We bought this product to use on removable panels to surround our covered deck during the winter. We live in snow country, and my husband completed the product the afternoon before a big snow storm (nearly a foot of snow) and several days of freezing temperature. The deck off of our dining room stayed dry and 3 to 5 degrees warmer than the uncovered portion of our deck. The vinyl is see-thru and lets in light, just what we had in mind. Sure glad we saw this thick vinyl on the Home Depot website! December 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good for a screened porch i bought this product to seal a screened porch in MN. It lasted the whole Winter and never tore, cracked, or ripped. However, we did have a milder than normal Winter. I stapled the product to the porch and then nailed a 1" cedar piece on all the seams for extra security. I am actually going to try reusing some pieces again this year to see if they last another Winter. I talked to the manufacture and they said make sure you use the "Supreme" grade as it is the only one which meets the cold-crack factor for extreme conditions. Sealing the porch keep the porch 15 degrees warmer than the outside air. We were very happy. The role was spliced half way through... luckly it worked out okay and I was not short material.
