Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh... My screened-in porch has 20 removable panels covered in a similar material. I bought 2 rolls of this vinyl to redo the coverings, since the old material has become brittle over time and has torn on several panels. The fabric is easy to work with, but I'm 3/4 of the way through the first roll, and the material in the entire roll so far is wrinkled, even I as I unroll it, so even though I've splined it in properly, it looks lousy. I guess I'll see what the second roll looks like, and maybe it will look better with time, but I'm thinking I just should have had a contractor recover my panels instead of doing it myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wrinkle resolution Try using a blow dryer to remove the wrinkles. This normally will do the trick.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good strength. Not crystal clear. I live in Florida, purchased this to replace the .009 vinyl film on our Florida room windows. This particular product comes paper backed on a cardboard tube. During the manufacturing process,as the material gets rolled onto the tube, the paper backing gets wrinkled. These wrinkles get transferred to the vinyl and are impossible to get out. The best result so far is to install the vinyl as tight as possible, then using a heat gun to soften and shrink a lot of the wrinkles out. then remove the spline, re-stretch and re-install the vinyl and spline, then reheat and re-shrink again. Even after all that , there is still a "textured" pattern in the vinyl. This problem gets worse the farther into the roll you go. Above all that there are other bumps, dents and other defects throughout the roll. These are permanent defects. If you are looking for Glass-like clarity, this is not the product for you. If you don't mind a slightly obscured view, then this product will do just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I now rest easy during freezing windy weather. Perfect cover for plus/minus 32 degree freezing weather to protect my garden fall planting. Experience Forty mile per hour wind with no problem, but have the cage secured by cord to a ground spike. I found no wrinkles when unrolled. Easily cut by snipping/cutting with scissors or guiding partial open scissors. I attached brass grommets in order to secure it over a wire cage. The grommets attached easy and are secure. I expect it to last many seasons by rolling it up for summer storage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I made windows for my gazebo to replace the screens allowing us to use it more than just during the summer. So far it is holding up very well. We have had 60 MPH winds recently and they did great! The vinyl film is very sturdy and unrolls easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Product Mine unrolled just fine. No problems with wrinkles. At 50°F it began to stiffen while installing, so it was hard to work with while installing into a window frame.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 12 ML vinyl not the same quality as last years Ordered 2 rolls of this vinyl product last year and it was clear to see through. Ordered 2 more rolls this year, at same cost, and it is very foggy and not clear to see through. Last years vinyl is still very good and clear. This years vinyl is trerrible. Why the difference?
