I bought this at a competing box store (think L) 6 years ago for about $90 total. It was then labeled differently, sold under PRIMO water but exactly the same as the VIVA branded. It's a great unit, always put out cold water, and never any issues. It finally died last month. The compressor would run and run without making cold water. While it was out of warranty by a long shot the manufacturer still offered a big discount on a replacement unit, which was pretty good. I would recommend it because I got 6 years of hassle free use, beyond what I expected.

Bought this water cooler for the office and love the size and features. The area for inserting the cup is huge allowing for a pitcher or larger container to be used without tipping or spilling. The hot water is hot enough to make tea or coffee, even in a large cup or French Press. My team is definitely impressed!

I purchased this to use with a ZeroWater filter bottle and it works great. The chilled water is very cold and the hot water dispenser is great for making a cup of tea. The reason I bought this model was for the self-cleaning feature. It supposedly uses reactive oxygen (ozone) to keep any microbes from growing in the water. Hopefully it's working, as I think I can hear it cycling on several times a day. I do wish it had an indicator light or something that told you when the tank was being cleaned though just for peace of mind.
The one suggestion I would have for the manufacturer would be to improve the users manual, because it makes no mention of the self-cleaning feature. And instead it says that the unit should be cleaned out with a bleach and water solution every 6 weeks. The whole reason I bought a self-cleaning unit is so I wouldn't have to worry about manually cleaning it out with bleach water all the time. I assume that with the self-cleaning feature I can ignore these instructions for the manual bleach water cleaning, but it would be nice to know for sure.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dolcesmama Cooler has good flow
I bought this to replace a watercooler that I suspect had some biofilm building up in the lines. There were times when water would hardly come out. Then I purchased the VIVA. Water flows at a decent rate, twice that of the one I had, even when it was new. No more impatient glass fill-ups! The water tastes great too!
People commented that it is noisy. I don't really find it to be much more noisy than my old cooler except that there is a cleaning cycle that runs periodically. It is a bit louder than the refrigeration cycle. But that is a small price to pay for the peace of mind of having no biofilm buildup in the cooler. Overall I am very happy.

Easy to set-up. Took a little while to clean to get rid of that plastic taste, flushed about 4-5 gallons an plastic taste was eliminated. Makes some noise but not enough to be distracting. Also has hot water that comes out just as hot as if I put a kettle on the stove. Sleek stainless steel design compliments out office scheme! Would definitely recommend this!

Cooler makes very cold water and the cup fills up very fast. All of the top load water coolers can tip if you have small children. They provide an anchor strap for the wall. We have ours wedged between the fridge and the cabinets. The compressor unit is a little noisy making a tinny sound when running but after two weeks I rarely notice it anymore. I do miss the GE counter top model that lasted 12 years.
They should provide a better diagram for the bottle receptacle. If you take it apart to clean it, there are two small plastic "bullets" that I put in backwards on reassembly that caused an airlock. The water outlet is low and you have to bend over some but I think all the other models are too. The dispense buttons are mounted on top in front of the bottle which is nice. Everything else is fairly simple. Overall I am happy with this unit and hopefully it will last many years.

Looks great, but when I was reading the info on this item the manufacturer never said that you would need special bottles to use with the cooler. Found out the hard way. But I did figure out how to resolve the problem. So now I can use it with out taking a bath or my floor taking a bath.
Theres one thing I'm not sure I like is that the resavor is not wide enough to place a water bottle or glass. You have hold onto it so it doesn't fall.
Not to happy about these things.
