Will it work for a 500 sq ft Cabin?

I live permanently in a small Alaskan cabin. Can I use this as my home stove?
Asked by: Mason
I see no reason why it wouldn't do a good job for your cabin. It heats my garage quite well and it is uninsulated. My garage is the same size. I live in SD. Brrrrr, like alaska.

How can I supply burning air, without cooling-off the other rooms?

I have a relatively air-tight house, which might inhibit a smoke-free draft, without ready access to outside air for burning
Asked by: afl166
These stoves are not applicable to closed systems ( outside air supply ) they leak too much, outside air must be carefully controlled or you will create too much draft and have an inferno, due to the fact that wood stoves have an uncontrolled source of fuel.( ie unburned wood) Furnaces on the other hand, have a controlled amount of fuel and as such are much safer and easier to control the flame front.

why this product can not be ship to CA?

the final destination will be in Tijuana Mexico and the nearest Home Depot is in Chula Vista CA.
Asked by: ColdRaymon
Because California has some of the most draconian laws in the world. Wood stoves are considered hazardous by the state, therefore, not acceptable.
