Product was delivered to my local HD store in NC. Assembled the legs easily. Appears sturdy, yet some online reviews stated it will bend in the middle from heat. I did a few small fires to season the grate. A fire brick was placed under the center of the grate for support (just in case). Otherwise, fit fine in our BX26E boxwood stove and allows for quicker start of fire and better heat from burning wood. Because this was a "special online order" it did not qualify for the HD 5% discount. Huh. Not a big deal, but it would have saved some $$$. Hopefully, this grate will last ....... and extend the life of our boxwood stove.

Having a grate in your wood stove that elevates the wood off the bottom is illogical. This will expose the entire length of your wood to the fire all at once...impossible to control the burn. Use ash to insulate the fire from the stove bottom. I've done it with my 30 gallon barrel stove that I built in the mid 70's, which is much thinner than this stove. It has never burned through and I use no grate or firebricks to protect the bottom. This will induce your fire to burn from the front to the back, lengthening your burn time and using your wood more efficiently. Gimmick and waste of money.

Although this grate isn't the specific model for the stove, it does work to replace the part that has broken. I can now continue to use the wood stove until next year.
