Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Chris Great heat for the buck!
I got this stove to heat my finished half-basement (about 500sq feet) which usually gets pretty cold in the winter. Its my first wood-burning stove and a good emergency heat source. Although there was one flaw... the description says it comes with a removable cooking lid, which as a manufacturer's error, there is no removable lid, I couldn't be happier with it for the price especially because shipping was free by Home Depot. I just wish installing the chimney wasn't so expensive!
Even though it's a small stove, it does warm my house up a few degrees while heating my basement. (about 6-8 degrees after a few hours of firing). I recommend a flue thermometer and that your first firing be outside because there's a coat of oil on the cast iron. And if you're buying this for the cooking lid, just pick something else. Overall a great buy and its 85lbs, enough to move it around by yourself.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by goscrappers Good for Hunting Cabin
First, let me say that I live in SW Arkansas so a low temp of 20-25 is about as cold as it usually gets. We set up the stove in our hunting cabin (400 sq ft) and have stayed 4 nights so far. The coldest was cold enough to freeze canned cokes left in my truck, but we stayed warm inside. Now I dont mean we were running around in shorts but it kept the cabin warm. The other nights have been from the mid 30's to mid 40's; it has been warm enough to be very comfortable. It is a great buy for the price.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by MrArgo This is a nice little stove.
It's compact size is the real feature here. Constuction and materials are just average. Too small to be lined with fire brick. So it heats and cools quickly. Actually works fine and takes an average size log. I recommend it if you need a small stove.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Joseph Nice little stove for small spaces
It would be worth spending a little more money and purchasing a better quality stove. Cheap design, but easy to assemble. Expensive to purchase the parts for the chimney i recommend going through the roof and not out through a wall. Keeps my deattached 400 sq ft garage decently warm in the freezing Michigan Winter

This wood stove is UL listed and it throws out a lot of heat for its size

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Yakman Did its task well...
Built quality is fair. The heat shield on the bottom of the stove came broken, but it wasn't an issue in terms of safety and the performance of the stove.
