The Vornado AC300 Whole Room Air Purifier uses true HEPA filtration, the most effective filtration available, to remove up to 99.97% of airborne allergens down to 0.3 micron. The Vornado Whole Room Air Purifier actively circulates and filters all the air throughout a room. Without circulation, the air cleaner is only cleaning the immediate area around the unit, relying on general motion to push air through the unit. The AC300 uses a combination HEPA/carbon filter to trap Dust, Pollen, Pet Dander, Smoke, Bacteria, Mold Spores, Dust Mites and more. The carbon pre-filter both absorbs odors and traps larger particles. Features 3 speeds, push button electronic controls, filter replacement indicator and industry leading 5 year limited warranty.

Rated 2.2 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Noisy I have had this product for about a year now. It is just incredibly noisy no matter what setting I use. At times I can tune it out but other times I just turn it off. I have other Vornado products (humidifier) and have been pleased with the products. This one I am not. November 30, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by VERY DISAPPOINTED!! I bought the vornado 300 about 3 months ago. The motor was very loud so I returned it and got another one only to have the same problem. I kept this one and the motor quit working. Now I have a very expensive paperweight. August 10, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Loud noise on any setting This unit has rattled and made a terrible noise since day one. Very disappointed with this filter, especially considering how expensive it was. The larger unit works great and I expected the same quiet operation. August 9, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by VERY LOUD RATTLE After the 3rd day of use, this product makes way too much noise to use in our bedroom which is what we purchased it for. Medium and low speeds are intolerable and even high is pretty noisy. Very disappointed. April 2, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by they CAN be fixed I found one that'd been discarded, probably because it was so noisy. Reaching in and turning the fan by hand i found a rough spot like a bearing or something dragging. So i took it the rest of the way apart. I expected a cheap sleeve bearing motor but found a most excellent little appliance motor with ball bearings in anti-noise mounts. Turned out that minor motor bearing noise is amplified by the (flimsy) plastic structure that holds the motor. It acts just like a drum-skin. Motor bearings are same as in skateboards, S608, and cost only about a dollar apiece. So i put in new ones. A drop of "ArmorAll" to lubricate the rubber bearing sound insulators eases reassembly. It ran all night and is whisper quiet now. Word of caution - while motor is apart cover the windings with tape. Back shell of motor bangs on them and can damage the varnish insulation. I had to fix a spot i'd scraped, used clear engine spay enamel. Running just fine as we speak. I think this product got an undeserved bad rep from a bad batch of bearings. May 22, 2014
