Answer:
The sprinkler acts as a 3/4" female fitting. You would need to connect it to a 3/4" male fitting.

Yes. I have mine (10 of them) mounted high on a 1/2" schedule 80 grey PVC 4' pole with a 1/2" to 3/4 fitting to match the 3/4" female fitting on the Voyager. Works Great!

Answer:
The flow rate depends upon the nozzle selected as well as the water pressure. According to the "manual" it ranges from 0.5 to 8 gpm.

Answer:
MDE, that will depend greatly on the spray pattern (quarter-circle, full-circle, etc.) and the PSI. With a full-circle pattern at 40 PSI, your Voyager uses 4.0 GPM. A half-circle pattern at 40 PSI would yield a rate of 2.0 GPM. For a more specific figure, please give our Support team a call at 1-800-488-6156. We'd be happy to help. Thanks!

Voyager II Pop-Up Gear Drive Sprinkler is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 80.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sprinkler Head Works Fine Had to replace a sprinkler head and the sprinkler head works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sprinkler head! Used these Orbit Voyager II heads to replace the Toro 700's (3/4" female connection; 24 total...we have a very large yard) that have been in place for about 15-years. We are on well water with moderate pressure and the 3.0 GPM nozzle they came pre-loaded with did a very nice job throwing and covering the stated 25+ ft. We were quite impressed at how similar they are constructed (very hearty) and function as compared to the Toro 700's (which are no longer available), so we are hopeful they will show reasonably comparative life/longevity. They've been in place for about 2-weeks and so far, so good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rotating sprinkler head I was not impressed with this product. Once installed in the ground, it provided on a pathetic 6 to 8 feet stream. I suspect the wrong nozzle was installed, even though the literature said it was the most common. The same literature was very unclear on which nozzle to use, mainly because I have no idea how to measure my water pressure (flow) in gallons per minute. I went back to Home Depot and bought one of the competitors sprinklers and it worked.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Work well when they work. I bought 6 of these 3 years ago. So far, 2 of them have broken. I placed them just outside the curbing boarding of my lawn, so they are never hit with a lawn mower and never disturbed. I live in Phoenix Arizona area, so that gives you an idea of what the weather is like. I like how they work, I just wish they would work at least to the 5 year warranty that is included with them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stay with Hunter! These do not distribute water very well, Adjustments can be made easy but even watering is not possible ! This was easy to use and adjust, The water will not disperse evenly, I would not recommend installing these in your yard it will cause uneven watering. It comes with all sorts of nozzles so it looks like it should work great! No it don't work great. You get what you pay for with theses. So don't buy them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sprinkler works well The sprinkler works well when the right nozzle is selected and installed. However, the documentation is abysmal. In fact, it is hard to understand what they mean by "gear drive"! There is little explanation about the nozzles. I had to learn by experimentation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement irrigation head Works well, easily replaces old broken sprinkler heads. Comes with various heads and the adjustment tool to help with spray adjustment.h
Date published: 2016-08-11
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sprinkler Head The sprinkler head was easy to install. The deciding factor on this brand is the choice of nozzles to fine tune spray patterns.
