I need this gun today. Can I pick it up in Sterling CO ? I won't use it often at all so I'm looking for the cheapest gun

Asked by: FloorGuy28
I had to purchase online because the stores in my area only stock the $200/up name brands. It took about a week for UPS to deliver.I'm really glad I bought it.

Description says this nailer may be used for siding... "Designed for use on shingling, roofing and siding applications" ...but the manual "Fastener Specification" says it will only take roofing nails (.39" diameter head in .67" to 1.75" lengths). Is the description wrong?
Asked by: NealB
It would depend on the type of siding you are installing. The nails are coil fed with a nail advancing mechanism that allows room for the nail head to position correctly. If you are installing aluminum siding, this may work but I wouldn't use it for wood lap siding.

7/8 in. to 1-3/4 in. Coil Roofing Nailer with Magnesium Housing is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 26.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great inexpensive gun!!! Read lots of reviews where people said this gun double shoots nails... I redid the roof on my house and shot over 5,000 nails with it. Double shot a nail ONCE and that's because I kept the trigger down and it shot the second nail on the bounce. User error... when I held the trigger down and tapped the gun or held the gun firmly in place and pulled the trigger it never bounced and double shot... so just FYI for potential buyers of this gun... all of the double shooting Nails reviews, is user error and not gun malfunction... the only complaint I have is that the depth wheel is a bit loose and needs to be readjusted every so often.. I solve this problem with a dab of Loctite on the threads...Great Gun great price

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a do-it-yourselfer like myself !! Exceeded my expectations. I was a little worried due to the price, but it is holding up great with only one jam in 620 nails so far. I was also worried if my little compressor would be enough to supply the power it needed. I have a 6 gallon portable that puts out 5.0 CFM at 40 PSI / 4.0 CFM at 90 PSI........it works great !!! So, what I'm saying is that you don't need a high power compressor to run this thing! The nail depth was also very consistent. Some adjustments necessary, but not very often and very easy/quick to do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works Shot about 2000 nails through it this weekend, worked great. It did double shoot a few times and jam twice, but it may have been due to the nail coils being compressed (someone left the box on it's side) well worth the price.
