The Wen Boxes Came Delivered by Yellow Freight to Home Depot. . They were wrapped in heavy Plastic
on a pallet. All Home Depot did is forklift. the pallet onto my older 1ton PU.
Backed PU Near Open Garage. Used Box Ramps to unload hvy tool top. This bottom section has
wheels attached at factory.Heavy as all get out. I used my Japanese saw,and cut half the pallet away.
Thus moving it to truck bed floor. SO we could move it down the ramp. Remove 12 31/2 wood screws
and follow directions on box: Worked like charm. Tool Box IN perfect Condition! ME I'M JUST TIRED.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jenksdrummer Nice Tool Chest!
Purchased this through HD online store as they had the best price around. Delivery seemed to be more of a guess than anything solid. Arrived at a local store and I went to pick it up. It's heavy and it's big. Bring a friend or TWO. Unboxed and all is perfect. It's a good size larger than my previous tool chest, can fit a circular saw in the bigger drawers! Has foam liners in all the drawers. Top cabinet will hold shut with the lid closed; not sure if I like that aspect; but they all have a cam action to them that will snap the drawers shut when you get close; and require a bit of certainty to when you open them. So far it holds all my tools enough to where I may want...more tools! Not a bad thing! It's big and heavy enough that it rumbles the floor when you roll it. Feels like it'll outlast me!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RubiconX Solid value, but have it shipped
This cabinet and chest combo is a great value for the price. It neither looks nor feels "cheap" or 'tinny." it is solidly constructed with SIX 5" plastic wheels of which two on one end swivel and lock. It is quite heavy (410 pounds in total according to the shipper), so I don't anticipate moving it a lot. To me, the wheels seem adequate. The steel is a fairly heavy guage (substantially heavier than an old Craftsman chest that I had), and is nicely finished. The cabinet and chest each come with two keys, but they are not interchangeable between the cabinet and chest. The locking mechanisms appear solid, and do not seem problematic as some others have commented. The drawers do take a bit of a strong pull initially to overcome their "snap-closed" feature, but the unit is heavy enough that tugging to open a drawer will not budge the unit. The chest lid has two pneumatic pistons to hold it open, but there are no frills such as power bars or knockouts for cords. Most drawers of the chest are quite shallow -- which is a good thing, because they will display sets of screwdrivers or wrenches etc. side-by-side with no layers to dig through to find what you seek. There are plenty of drawers at 24. All have pre-cut liners, but the non-removable tray-like top compartment of the chest beneath the lid, has a few permanent dividers and in my chest those lacked liners. There is a thick (ca. 1/4 in) rubber pad atop the cabinet, and I'm debating whether to place the chest on top of that, or to remove it to cut to fit the chest top compartment. Probably, i'll set the chest on the pad, and just go buy a roll of extra drawer liner for the top chest compartment.
Although I own a pickup truck, the very best advice I got from reading reviews of cabinet/chest combos is PAY TO HAVE IT DELIVERED! Although my delivery fee was $75, it would have been quite difficult to hoist the palleted pieces into and then out of my high 4X4's bed. The trucking company that delivered my combo had both pieces mounted on a full-size wooden shipping pallet, and the driver had a hand fork-lift that he graciously used to wheel the pallet right into my garage. I'll have to find someone to help me to hoist the empty chest onto the top of the cabinet, but that is a lot easier than having to get someone to go to Home Depot with me to manhandle pallets into my truck.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by VAToolGuy Good Value
I chose this toolbox because it seemed to be a good value for the money. I'm just a guy with more tools than space, so I couldn't justify spending too much, but I wanted something quality that would last years of moderate use. So far it seems to fit the bill. I also chose this specific model because it has many smaller drawers, rather than a few large drawers, as this fits the type of tools I have.
I recommend this toolchest. It's big: bring a pickup when you go to pick it up!

It came superbly crated. Casters were already installed. Included all drawer liners. Lid to the top chest has pistons to make opening and closing smooth. I needed the most drawers I could get for the money. Did my research, checked all over and came up with this beauty. Upper and lower chest lock individually. I am very happy with the WEN.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by critchey Nice solid set of tool chests
Boxes arrived in short order
Was missing some parts for the base - HD shipped and they arrive a week or so later
The included wheels are no good once the boxes are loaded up
Replaced with 4" metal wheels as the shop has a concrete floor

This is a very good tool chest for the money. The construction is solid and sturdy. This isn't a tool chest for a heavy duty industrial application, but, for the money, this is a great tool chest for a homeowner, hobbyist, or small shop.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Brigg10 Well made box and chest But wait!!!!
Plenty of room for tools and test equipment. Strong and seems pretty rugged. One small problem. The locking mechanisms are the worst I have ever seen on a tool box in 35 years of being a tech. The keys and locks are a joke.
I put tools in the chest and locked it. I tried to immediately open the box and the lock wouldn't budge. I tried to turn it harder and the key broke off in the lock. I had to drill it out to recover my tools. Needless to say I will not lock the chest of drawers. Other than that I am quite satisfied with this combo. Kokiak needs to get serious about the locking mechanisms
