Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Capedoryus Get a spare Colette
I have one from a prior purchase and love it. Problem came up when I needed another collet as the one I was using became deformed. The collet is the brass bushing inside the head that you change for different shaft sizes. Well the Dremmel collet does not fit. It was easier to buy this entire kit than find the collet. Wein had them for sale as spare parts and I better get a few. The machine is fine and better than expected. The cable deal is a bit of a joke but for $20 I won't be doing heart surgery with it any time soon. Example of the cable: needed to drill holes in tight quarters...hay great I have the new tool....that bit looked like a taffy stick in a kids mouth. Wobbled all over. I am sure it will be fine for grinding ect. You can use it without the cable. For the cost of a day's Starbuck, why not.

Rotary tool is great. Works as good as others and I really like the flex shaft. Makes working on my projects so much easier. The value is great for this tool!

This tool has no power unless you set it on the highest setting. It's fine to keep as a back-up tool. "You get what you pay".

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rimfire Works well but underpowered
Used this tool on two projects. It works well although it is a bit under powered with a one amp draw compared to my old old single speed Dremel. Keep the pressure of the bit light enough so that the tool does not slow down too much or begin to struggle and it should not be a problem. The chuck can be finger tightened which is a plus although the flex-shaft requires a wrench. Have not tried the flex-shaft yet.

I had a generic rotary for years until the bearings went out. I never though I would ever find anything I could afford to replace it until I found the WEN rotary. HD was better price that almost anyone else and matched the price on the rest. Free shipping to the store closed the deal. The WEN flexible shaft makes it possible to perform tasks that are impossible in tight situations without that addition. Let me emphasize that this tool is not designed for heavy duty work. It is designed for precision cutting, grinding, and polishing that does not require heavy torque, but speed.
The case is a great plus but a bit tight to pack it all back in, as all portable tool cases are. For an old fogey like me, it is an excellent denture polisher. It is also very good for deburring a chainsaw chain that gets the drive links damaged when the chain gets loose and flies off due to careless lack of observation. The tool has much less vibration than my old rotary and is quieter, probably due to closer tolerances. Now, if it also came with a large wall-mounted mahogany display case, it would be absolutely perfect. (sarcasm mode off)
