Before buying this read the instructions on their website! There are so many rules for this bag from overhead wires to weight to placement etc. There are many rules on the website and others in the packaging. If you do not have an open area on your lawn or driveway (where a truck with crane can enter) don't bother getting this. Although the packaging rules state not to, I read some reviews that you can place it on the street at your own risk of the crew accepting it. In my county, it is legal to temporarily place a dumpster in the street as long as it does not impede traffic.
I found a spot on my lawn to place it, 20 feet away from all power lines and trees and on a minimal slope. The only spot other than the street. My driveway is flanked by two tall well spread crape myrtyles so that wouldn't work.
I Demo'd a 5"x8" bathroom and placed all the debris with the exception of the toilet, vanity and tub in there. Most of the bathroom walls were 'mud walls' which are 1-1.5" thick with tile laid on them. My drywall was 1" thick as well. I tried to put the heaviest materials on the bottom and filled the entire bag. If I had regular drywall I could have probably fit the tub (broken up), vanity and toilet in there. You can see my bag filled in the photo.
I wrapped the handles up and used the website to notify the bag was ready. As I went through the site I saw that the bag could not be more than 1/3 of heavy debris such as cement. Those mud walls were about half the bag so I was worried. But the bag was still picked up two business days later! I live in the DC area.
I did a lot of research before choosing this option. I think bad reviews on the company forcing people to move the bag differ by locality and how the crew feel about your bag and its placement. I could have hauled everything to the dump for maybe half the price but this was much more convenient, especially when I had a month to finish the remodel. Just haul it outside to the bag and they take care of it.
My big complaint with the process is the rules. I get they need a lot of rules for safety and legal reasons but some rules were only in the packaging, some on the website and others I only saw when I was scheduling a pickup.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HoosierGrrl Love the Bagster!
The Bagster was a huge help as we were cleaning our garage and attic prior to a recent move. The ability to pick it up in the store, fill it at leisure and then have the truck come and haul the stuff off was great. Highly recommend!

The Dumpster in a Bag purchased at Home Depot solves the getting rid of all that trash from a demo/construction project at home. It does require a call to Waste Management to schedule a pickup. I have used this product on three occasions and it has worked perfectly for me. I have used it for a 20X 40 deck demo, kitchen remodel and a tile and hardwood floor project. The system easily handled all of my debris removal at about the third of the cost of a roll off container. Plus I did not have to worry about any damage to my concrete driveway from the heavy equipment.
I am very pleased with the product and the results and highly recommend it.

Doesn't seem to hold that much stuff. Kinda expensive to have taken away. The Bagster is about $30 and the pickup is $176. I watched as it was picked up and was glad it didn't rip apart and drop everything. I probably would just get a real dumpster next time.

Excellent product and service. Instructions for utilizing this product and ease of scheduling pick up makes this a no-brainer for small quantity debris removal.

I just filled two of these Bagsters. I generally like to use these occasionally and it was a convenient way to clean out the basement. However, there was an issue with one of them - the strap brook due to dry rot (it had been outside for a few months. So I had to empty all the contents into a new Bagster - quite a chore. No where on the Bagster not it's packaging does it mention how long it can be left out doors or that it could get dry rot and break.
The other heads up is the cost to have it picked up is rather high at $140, so when added to the cost of the bag it's a $170 transaction.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by RoyalOakHomeowner Not durable or convenient, better to rent a roll-off dumpster
I've used this service before and often been left with the same impression, that the overall cost was only marginally better and only acceptable because I didn't need a full 10 yards I'd get for nearly the same price. This time, however, WM has added a restriction they don't tell you about until you schedule pickup online, at which point most people will have already bought their bag and loaded it. They now state they won't pick up from a driveway less than 12 feet wide. Most single car driveways won't meet this criteria, and it's nonsensical because unless WM is constantly pulling oversize vehicle permits, vehicles are restricted by DOT regulations to 102" (8 and a half feet) width.
Because my driveway is a single car driveway and therefore now 12 feet wide, my first pickup was canceled and I was asked to move the bagsters to the end of the driveway. This caused wear on the nylon and the bag tore on the second attempt to pickup. Not spending another $60, just save the money and aggravation and rent a real dumpster.

Easy to use. Fill up and they come take away. A bit pricey considering what you can get a 30 or 40 us dumpster for. But, if it's a small job around your house and you don't have room for a full size dumpster it's the trick. Highly recommend.
