Plan on attaching this to a plywood top to make a simple desk. What is required to attach it to the top. Does the leg come with a screw in the end. Are there sandard plates to attach to the plywood that will accept the leg screw.

Answer:
You will need some type of apron or rails to create a table with these. I used mortise and tenon but you could use glue and pocket screws or dowels or biscuits. Then once you have a base you could buy table buttons or make your own out of some 1.5 by 1.5 by .75 hardwood pieces and screw into bottom of plywood and into inside of aprons.

Answer:
2" square at top and 1" square at bottom. Taper on two inside edges. But it is made of 1.5 and .5 pieces laminated together which I did not know when purchasing them.

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good But... I bought a set of these legs because I could not find any local hardwood that was a true 2" width. All I could find was 1.5". The closest I could come up with was 4x4s which are 3.5" and would waste two thirds of the wood. So I searched and found these. The cost would have been a little less but the savings were in the time shaping the legs. The first problem was when they came I found out that they are actually 1.5 hardwood glued/laminated to a .5 piece of similar hardwood. And the taper is on the .5 side so you can actually see where the one piece's taper ends and picks up on the underlying piece. And the two pieces are not the same grain or even the same color. This is awful. The second problem is that the 'tags' are stapled into the ends which I need exposed so I would lose an eight of an inch cutting the ends off which wouldn't be a problem is they weren't too short. The listing stated 30" but they came at 29" and I really didn't want to lose any more length. Also on the top ends of the legs they developed a couple of cracks while handling them for mortises which then required glueing. This was a problem because this is a floating Maple Slab and the top ends of the legs are chamfered and visible. The good? They are uniform size between each leg and they have a smooth edge along the taper, even over the laminate transition, and I am painting them so the issue of laminated wood and difference in color doesn't matter to me on this project. But If I were staining them they would not be acceptable. December 22, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gorgeous Grain!!!! Gorgeous! We stained and put on a semi gloss finish. The grain just pops. Lovely! December 9, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst product I have ever purchased! First: Not what was advertised. No chambered edge and only 3 out of the 4 sides are tapered. Second: Wood was of poor quality. Some bad knot holes and splintered on the edges. Third: Had to recut the top because it was not square. Forth: No matter what I tried to do I could not get the legs to line up to one another. Fifth: They are layered wood, ie: not cut from a solid piece. I used premium wood for the table top and sides and the quality was not up to standard to the rest of the project. Will not recommend nor ever order wood on-line again. I will choose the quality in person. I am going to return the items and make my own legs. March 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice legs but incorrectly labeled. The table legs are nice. The website states they are 29" legs. The legs were delivered with a label on them that states they are 28" legs vice 29" legs which I ordered. But upon measuring them, they are in fact 29" legs. The description would be better to include all the dimensions to include the top and the bottom to more accurately describe the item. April 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice quality legs for the money. I purchased these legs to build a sofa table and i was very pleased to see such quality hardwoods used to make these legs. They are very well made, every leg is held to a tight tolerance in regards to its measurements when cut. I looked upon many websites and table legs are expensive everywhere (period). This is the best deal that i could find on the web, $13.00 a piece. They actually look nicer in hand than the picture reveals here on the site. I ordered 8 of them and none of them had any deformities, checks, or other significant faults. very pleased and i would definitely buy them from here again. Chris March 19, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The Product was not exactly per its description Good value for the product. The product description did not exactly match the product. The description suggested that the product had a champher. It does not. Other than that product is as described. April 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good if painted very reasonable price, but no where is a mention that this is a laminated wood made of two pieces. June 6, 2014
