Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RoadWarrior Project: Stain my deck and pergola with ease
I was a little hesitant to use a sprayer for my deck as I am true believer in using a good brush to apply stain, but my wife said we should try it as it would save a lot of time. As a smart husband, I said YES!! This project would normally take me a whole weekend. When I used the Wagner Control Spray Double Duty it took me 3 hours to do my project. Awesome!! I would, however, recommend putting plastic on your home or anywhere you don't want stain to go as a slight amount of overspray can occur. Clean up was a breeze! I would recommend this product to anyone looking for great coverage in a staining project, and to save time.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ScottyJ 3 product used and by far the best
My dad bought the little spray ones that look like a weed killer. That's about all they are good for. This thing. WOW!! I had lattice that needed treated and this is by far the only way to go. And cleaning it was also very easy. If you want to cuss and waste treatment then dont by this. But if you want a fast easy and clean way to treat something. Then a must buy.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Zzoo Good product
I have worked with may sprayers, but this one is something else. I used it for water base polyurethane, and it worked just amazing.
1) The continuous airflow is a good feature on this sprayer. The material got on the project evenly.
2) The noise level is very low, so it sounds like a small shop vacuum.
3) The viscosity tool that comes with the sprayer works just fine. Recommend using it before start spraying.
4) It cleaned easy,
5) It comes with two different buckets, which is good for small size jobs, but I wish it would have come with a extended tube so it could dropped into 1 or 5 gallon buckets for bigger jobs.
Overall, great product

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by probuilder Great sprayer! Worth every penny.
I bought this sprayer to paint my kitchen cabinets. The flow of paint was very easy to control, and easy to feather the spray. Although this is no professional sprayer, it certainly delivered professional results. I did learn a few lessons along the way. Take the time to mess with the air flow. Sometimes higher air flow produced less paint flow and often gummed up the nozzle. Keep an eye on the nozzle. I carried around a damp cloth. If I started and stopped it too much, paint would build up. If i kept a nice even flow, it was never a problem. I was planning on throwing this out when I was done, but now I'm dreaming up more things to paint.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Josh Best $68 I've spent in a long time
There's a reason this thing has nearly five stars. Most of the other Wagner sprayers have very poor reviews but this one looked like just the ticket with its features and high reviews both here and at other websites. I bought it and it is a fantastic sprayer. Very low overspray, lays a nice smooth coat with no orange peel, very easy to control, adjust, and clean.
I sprayed Benjamin Moore Waterborne Satin Impervo with this on my trim, diluting the paint down 1/10 with water before spraying and it laid it down smooth as glass. The trim looks excellent now!
Would recommend this to anyone needing to spray trim, cabinets, doors, walls, etc. Well worth the buy.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sprayer1 Surprised
I had a cabinet project on my hands this past weekend, and I was happy with the results that this sprayer gave me. I spent a day of primming 25 cabinet doors and drawers front and back. The primmer was a little thick so it didnt go on smooth. A little sanding before painting and it was going to work out fine. I applied 3 thin coats of Cabinet Rescue with the sprayer and I couldnt be happier. We saved so much money doing this!!! With paint/primmer and sprayer total was around $100 vs thousands. Just remember each time you are done with a coat and there is down time, rinse the sprayer and nozzle with oms or it will dry up and clog.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Knucklehead Doesn't support latex paint, they could say this on the box
The box says, "sprays stains, sealers, enamels and other materials", but after spending way too much of my weekend time before getting out the paint roller and painting my carport I now know from calling customer support on Monday that the sprayer does not support latex paint. It's too thick. You can't see this until you buy the sprayer, read the directions and then try to thin your paint to where it will run thru the little funnel hole provided with the kit. This sprayer gets "0" stars when using latex paint; Wagner gets "0" stars for not giving proper guidance. This product is junk for what I bought it for, to spray latex paint. The directions should say this.

Bought this to stain my deck railing. Many years ago I purchased a Wagner sprayer to paint with and boy was it ever a joke. I gave Wagner a second chance using this HVLP sprayer. I would have been better off throwing the can of stain at the railing. Stain splatters onto the wood and does NOT sink into the wood as it would if it is brushed or rolled on. After using it for a 3 foot section, and after seeing the runs and splatters, I cleaned it up, re-packed it, and took it back for a full refund.
Trust me, I airbrush artwork and have many years of experience spraying automotive finishes. This unit is a complete farce! Last time I purchase anything with Wagner on it.
