Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Waste of money I was spraying stain on my deck with this unit and without warning the blower stopped working, It ran for approx. 2hrs and 10 min from taking it out of the box. May 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Totally worth the extra money I was painting my entire kitchen (including all of the cabinets, inside and out) so I thought getting a sprayer would be more efficient for doing all of the doors and getting in the inside details. I had originally bought the smaller Wagner 5.4 GPH sprayer for $68 and used that on my cabinet doors. I thought it was OK. Had to do "priming" for it which was holding the trigger down for 20 seconds while it shook/vibrated to the point my hand was numb, and made a noise so bad I used earplugs, and then the paint would start flowing and you had to make adjustments to get it right. Left that one in MI and got the same one back in Iowa to do the inside of the cabinets. That one was clogged up from the very first use and was so horrible I basically had to redo the whole outside of the cabinets from the huge globs it left. Then I looked at reviews, realized that one had horrible ratings, and found the Flexio 570 sprayer. Biggest. Difference. Ever. This sprayer was amazing. So easy to put together, tons quieter, and none of that priming- just grab it and go. The coverage was so smooth and I easily switched the direction of spray from horizontal to vertical and a wide spray to a more narrowed spray without skipping a beat. My cabinets look amazing and the coverage was superb. Yes it does have a little bit of over spray, but every sprayer does so just make sure to tape/tarp off and you'll be fine. I sprayed all of the cabinets inside and out in about 10-15 minutes (had to move the step stool around as I was painting on both levels.) The Flexio 570 is 100% worth spending the little extra on if you're looking at buying a sprayer anyways. I plan on using it on the last 2 bedroom walls, the bricks outside of my house in the spring, and to stain my deck as well. My mom is returning the other one and buying this one instead because of how big of a difference there was. January 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by worked very well I had used an older Wagner sprayer in the past and it worked pretty well, so I though I would try Wagner again when I painted the exterior of my house, getting it ready to sell. I was very happy to learn that this product worked even better than the older Wagner that I had used. I painted the entire outside over the course of several days, the time was mainly for taping and masking off. I ran about 7 gallons of paint through the sprayer and it worked great, only one time did I have a slight issue with globbing and that was due to the little washer inside not being seated properly when I reassembled. I corrected that and things were fine again. This spring I will be painting the exterior of my new house and will use the same sprayer April 12, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good product Pros: The product itself is good. I hate to paint and wanted this to make the experience better, which it did. The painting went quickly. The cons: 1. weight. Using the larger one is heavy (I'm a average strength female) and the product got quite tiring after a while. Putting less meant more refills. 2. There is quite a bit of overspray, so tape off EVERYTHING!! 3. Also, because the product works so well, cleaning this (and I wanted it really clean), took almost as long as the paint job. There are several smaller internal parts that you have to disassemble to properly clean it. It just seemed tedious to me. Overall a good product. January 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Another great product by Wagner The Flexio 570 Wagner Spray gun is a great companion for any paint job. This gun will not take rollers and brushes out of the equation but will certainly cut down painting time and effort significantly. You get a large iSpray Nozzle that covers larger areas or the smaller Detail Finish Nozzle for finish touch or small areas. Spray width adjustment lever to determine the pattern of spray and power dial makes this gun perfect for all painting tasks. Owner’s Manual provides great spraying techniques. Even though it’s made to handle any size project but you will add more time to your work if the area you are painting is small and indoors since you have to do a lot of prepping before you start; and cleaning after the paint is done. I use it only when I need to cover large areas. The outcome of paint results makes you feel like a pro. Cleaning process is very easy and takes about 20 minutes for the first time. Once you know exactly how to clean, every subsequent time will then take less than 10 minutes. As part of maintaining the gun, the only additional recurring cost is air filters which you have to replace once the current filter gets excessively dirty. Overall, it’s a great product by Wagner. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by wagner 570 poor reviews are correct! Purchased this sprayer because my Grayco got packed up with house. I went with the mid grade Wagner 570 and thought i could get some of the painting done before i head to new home out of state. Unfortunately 1/2 way into painting the garage the 570 startes spitting globs of paint. I cleaned and reallembled it and it still does the same. Such a waste of time and money!!. March 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Electric Sprayer for Large Surfaces, Interior Walls and Fences, Siding The Flexio 570 by Wagner is one of the latest offerings by a company well known for their electric spray guns meant for homeowner use. The 570 comes with two different nozzles, one for larger areas with a larger paint/stain container and a smaller nozzle for detail work and times where you need much less paint/stain. Both nozzles can be adjusted for horizontal or vertical spray patterns and for a wide or narrow stream. They both twist lock onto the handle securely and each has it's own trigger to activate the blower. My neighbor has an older Wagner and to be honest, it's loud and is kind of annoying. This new model got both of our attentions right away by how quiet it is. Yes, you still hear the strong blower, but it's not as intrusive as the older blower styles they made. I used this sprayer to stain the back side of my new wood fence. The side with the posts, braces, and cross bars. I used a roller for the smooth front, but the back was much more easy to cover with stain using this sprayer. You can adjust the power of the blower with the dial on top of the motor's handle. It has two settings, high and low. For stain, I only needed the lower power setting as it's quite thin. Since this sprayer is also made for regular thickness house paints, you can switch it to the higher output and get an even spread of paint with it. The trigger itself is not variable, it's either on or off. You adjust air speed with the upper two speed knob. Through the entire job I had no splatters, no drips and no globs of stain coming from the gun or nozzle. I used the larger container for most of the work. When I was near my garage and the neighbors garage I switched the the smaller nozzle for close up work. To be honest, I didn't notice a huge difference, but it was enough to keep the overspray more contained. I also made sure to mask the area, because you still get overspray with the small nozzle, just not as much. The manual and quick start guides are thorough and give you good tips on how to shoot paint and mask areas if you've never done it. Even a novice could get used to this gun fast and start getting smooth coats soon after practicing on scrap boards first. My biggest tip to all users in get paint filters and use them every time you fill the sprayer. Every time. The cheap filters will prevent you from clogging the gun and nozzle with large chunks of pigment. Also, clean the nozzles properly every single time per the directions and using the correct cleaners for the type of material you are spraying. Taking a bit of time for proper maintenance of any painting equipment pays off dividends in the future with consistent quality paint jobs and long lasting tools. People with smaller hands or arms may have issues with the size of this sprayer or the weight of it. It's got a bit of heft to it and after a few panels it can get heavy for smaller or weaker users. Take breaks after every container full is nearly empty and you'll be fine. The only thing this sprayer is lacking in my opinion is ten more feet of cord on the handle and a clip to retain the extension cord connection together. I would feel confident having a beginner use this sprayer as it's easy to load, easy to adjust and easy to get a good coat of coverage with after a bit of practice. June 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing After returning another sprayer i went with the flexio 570 and my mood went from complete rage to happy as soon as i started painting. I painted the entire exterior of my house in a couple weekends. I tried cutting the paint first but it went on a little thin so i stopped and it still sprayed fine. The only issue i had was my fault because i didnt strain the paint and there were some dried globs that clogged the spray tip. There is some over spray but if you tape off what you dont want painted and adjust the nozzle when needed its not bad at all. Clean up wasnt bad either, you can detach the entire section of the sprayer from the motor and clean it with no problem. August 27, 2013
