I AM A PROFESSIONAL PAINT CONTRACTOR IN BUSINESS FOR MYSELF WELL OVER 20 YEARS. I CURRENTLY OWN AT LEAST 10 VARIOUS PAINT SPRAYERS. MOST OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS SEEM TO BE CLOGGING PROBLEMS. I HAVE NOT HEARD ANYONE MENTION STRAINING THE PAINT PRIOR TO SPRAYING. MOST PAINT WILL HAVE A SMALL AMOUNT OF TRASH. THE CONED PAPER STRAINERS ARE CHEAP & DISPOSABLE & AVAILABLE WHERE EVER PAINT IS SOLD. YOU'RE FORCING PAINT THROUGH AN ALMOST MICRO-SCOPIC ORIFICE IN THE SPRAYER TIP. IT CAN NOT HAVE ANY DEBRIS OR IT WILL CLOG. JUST SOME FYI. HOPE IT HELPS.

I bought this because I though Wagner was a good company and they made great products. I will keep my personal comments out of this and just state the facts. The air flow is the major problem. It is routed across the electric motor that gets hot so then the air gets warmer until it's hot enough to bake the paint before it leaves the nozzle. I am not one to complain about having to constantly clean the tip or the over spray because that's common for this type of system. What I don't like is the plastic plunger will deform from the hot air and then this sprayer might as well have "disposable" leading the title. Until they correct the air flow and plastic plunger I would avoid this and any other design like this. Other than that when it was working I was impressed and thought it was great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Missed by a mile So this thing has a separate air pump that gets warm after it's used for the first 10 minutes ... warm air means the paint dries at the top which means the sprayer will clog which means it will splatter. Stay away from these machines. Spend the money or rent an airless .... I spent more money and time cleaning it and the surrounding area (even with 9x15 plastic covering) than I would have cost me to hand paint

The body of the sprayer would not lock onto the nozzle/tank, it was loose and would come loose while painting and spill paint everywhere. Manor fail, spent two hours cleaning from the spill and returned to HD, poor product, do not recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Great machine just hard to clean. I strongly recommend this product for bigger projects just cause it takes a while to clean it out

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than your Dad's Old Wagner! The Wagner Flexio 570 is a great addition to the garage or painter's van. Out of the box, I wasn't sure if this plastic thing was going to stand up to the abuse I was about to put it through. I used it to paint about 500ft of galvanized metal fence using Acrylic Latex. I didn't wasnt to drag out a compressor, and wanted to shoot the paint non-thinned. In one thorough coat I was able to paint the fence. It is not overspray-less, but no spray paint is. Cleanup was tough on some of the dryer areas, and the plastic restrics the use of certain harsh chemicals, but all in all this thing stood up to the job. It's not your Dad's solenoid-driven Wagner. It has a turbine and is an HVLP sprayer. The turbine easily twists off for cleanup of all non-electric parts. It gets a little heavy after a while, but it is glove friendly with plenty of trigger room. Also great for stains. A great middle ground spray gun between the larger paint sprayer and a compressor-based spray system.

It got all over everything. If you have a blank canvas and can tarp everything else off, go for it. Otherwise expect to be scraping tiny paint particles off the windows, floors, everywhere.

I read some of the good reviews prior to buying and now realize they have no idea what a paint gun is supposed to do. It advertises no need to thin latex.....I had to thin it beyond paint mfg. specs. Even then the paint came out in globs with no pattern involved. It also says it paints in any position, but the owner's manual says you can't turn it straight up (ceiling). An absolutely terrible product. HD appears to be following Wal-Mart and going down in quality to meet prices.
