This sprayer has a built-in air compressor that works really well. The user can actually hear the compressor when the device is turned on.

To do it right, I would say 15 to 20 minutes. but if you just want to make it quick and be able to use again and you don't care if paint gets left on the out side, you could do it ok in about 5 to 10 minutes.

Answer:
The directions said to run water through the sprayer to clean it. We were using thick Sherwin Williams paint so we took the sprayer apart and cleaned it very carefully in soapy, hot water after each use. This process took us about a half hour each time we cleaned up, but we felt we got best results with a really clean sprayer every time we used it again.

It took me about 15 minutes after using it for the whole day on stain. I cleaned the handle to because it has specks of stain all over it from the wind that day. It is pretty simple, and you can let the parts soak in a soap & water solution to loosen the paint/stain.

Answer:
Cleaning directions are included in the instruction manual. Once you are familiar with the unit, cleaning should only take 10 - 15 minutes. It will likely take longer the first couple of times you use it as you become familiar with it.

Answer:
Absolutely yes, you'll get a great finish (having done my cabinets with this sprayer). We decided to paint the boxes by hand however because it would've required so much masking in our kitchen to use the wagner. The cabinet doors (using the wagner) were sprayed though and look amazing. The finish is very smooth.

This would work, particularly if the area is or can be well-masked, or if the cabinets are in isolation so masking is not needed. Use the detail spray head.

Answer:
This will depend on the material you intend to spray, but for finishing with a thicker material like a latex paint, the Flexio 590, 690, and 890 will be able to handle that job.

Answer:
It might but I doubt it. The paint I was spraying was Benjamin Moore Exterior Latex, which is pretty thick, and the sprayer handled it without difficulty and with no thinning. But my idea of roof coatings is that they are sticky as well as thick, so I would hesitate to try it.

Answer:
Elastomeric coatings, due to their thickness, is something that we have found these units are not able to spray. With that type of material, you would really need a contractor sprayer to handle it.

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 74 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sprayer The sprayer works ok. I wouldn't plan on getting an entire house done with the sprayer though. The detail sprayer workers better than the large sprayer. Had to stop several times with the large to take it apart and clean the individual pieces. There is a lot of over spray with the larger sprayer so make time to prep accordingly. July 12, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not for molding I purchased this product because it claimed to shoot non-thinned latex. It will, however the orange peal texture it left on my molding was totally unexceptable. I added flotrol and more flotrol until I had added more than a have a bottle to 2 quarts of new Sherwin Williams paint. I made numerous adjustments, but in the end I had to brush out the spray to get the finish I desired. If I had been shooting walls perhaps it would have been acceptable, but I bet I would have ended up rolling it. The sprayer seemed to to have good pressure, and easy cleanup. Perhaps if it were used for stain it would worked out. Unfortunately I will be returning this and purchasing an airless sprayer. May 31, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ok Sprayer I purchased this product a week ago to paint my 3 car garage. I did use a roller on the room from time to time to compare the 2. I do own an air compressor and metal paint gun. I hoped this would be easier to use. Not really in my opinion. Less to move around and a little quieter over all. Pros: Easy to set up and get started. There was a quick set up guide to show you the basics. The all in one carry case and vacuum style air pump was nice to store the hose and everything in and enough room left over to store the extension cord I used. The front half of the sprayer breaks down easily to clean. There are not a bunch of complicated parts and only 1 seal to mess with. You have a remote to start and stop the pump on the handle. The seal held up through at least 10 cleanings so far. Des not appear to leak at all. The over all quality of the paint job looks great as expected from an air based sprayer. Great for smaller projects. I felt like I used less paint over all then using the roller. Cheaper to buy then an air compressor and paint gun set up. I did not have to use hearing protection around this unit. Cons: Even with the Air pump in the container on the floor, having the paint in a bucket attached to the sprayer is very heavy when you are working at or above your head level. The Vacuum hose gets hot fast. When you go to refill the paint can, the paint dries tot he spray tip and can be a pain to clean because you have to do it so often. When it clogs, a simple wipe of the tip is not enough, that just causes the paint to start getting thrown on the wall in large drops and it starts dripping down the front of the gun. I felt like I wasted a lot of paint cleaning the gun all the time. when the paint bucket gets low, it will start sputtering paint all over the place. The paint bucket still is about 1/4 full at this point. being carful at what angles you point the sprayer you can get a little more painting out of it before another refill. Refilling is a bit cumbersome. Not recommended for large projects like mine. Suggestions: Thin your paint, it helps. Clean the tip often. Get a respirator with the built in face shield. July 16, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by worth the money Made painting my deck very easy. Well worth the money. June 7, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by horrible paint sprayer I had to return this paint spray after trying to use it for an hour. I had an older Wagner sprayer that was working fine until the spray gun part started leaking paint everywhere, but it was over 10 years old so I figured I would give Wagner another shot. I looked at all the models and thought this would work for my project. I was spraying a finished attic. It took longer to get coverage with this sprayer than it would have using a brush. Also the gun is heavy and after about 15 minutes my arm was very tired. I was spraying latex primer and after about twenty minutes of using it it started spluttering paint out every which direction. I returned it and got a Graco Project Painter and it worked a whole lot better. If you want to paint anything bigger than a cabinet I would not recommend this sprayer. May 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good sprayer Self containment box is excellent. The finish sprayer tip is a lil big so expect to hold the gun back and overspray a lot. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fast and smooth work! (slow cleanup) Excellent for furniture projects or anything you can isolate without having to go nuts masking. That said, if you DO spend the time masking it is also good indoors. Good both for primer and regular latex paint. I was surprised how smooth the paint dried, it looks very nice! So far I've done a desk, a CD rack, 2 bookshelves, and finally my kitchen cabinets. The major CON is - cleanup! ...first you'll need some place to spray through the warm water/excess-paint, filling the reservoir at least 3 times to get the paint out. I used a big trash barrel but it's not ideal as the spray reflects back, ugh. If you have a "slop sink" and you don't care about over-spray you should be ok. Once you spray the water through several times, you'll need to take the whole thing apart and clean every little piece with a toothbrush and warm soapy water... it's some work let me tell you and make sure you follow the directions for reassembly. But the ritual is worth the results bottom line. This is definitely the best paint sprayer kit for the money in my opinion, and it's quite easy to get started painting with it. October 6, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by not so hot I would like to return this sprayer. I bought it after calling the manufacturer to get the best model for my purpose (spraying rustoleum on metal racks). It gave a horrible finish (like 80 grit sand paper). I tried various reductions per the paint instructions to no avail. There is no way this sprayer will do the job right. I had spent hundreds at the sand blasters and it basically needs to be sand blasted again. I tried spray cans, but it was taking too many. But why someone can't make a simple sprayer that works as good as a spray can is beyond me. Use spray cans or hire a pro that has an expensive spray gun. Don't waste your money on this pile.
