I replaced an earlier generation HVLP paint sprayer and find the decision to buy new rather than patching the old one an excellent decision. The new model performs far better than the previous model with more controls for pressure and material. I really like it. It feels good to have bought something that does what I want. It isn't real expensive and it works real well.

Used this to paint my basement ceiling and walls. The Latex spray gun works great, haven't used the other one for anything yet.

I used this to paint/stain a 6' wood fence. I did not have to thin the latex paint before use and I had absolutely no problems spraying a nice coat of paint on the fence. This is a great sprayer for the occasional DIY'er like me.

Have been using an HVLP sprayer for years made by Graco and I just love it. I purchased this from the email HD sent me with $50 off at Christmas. I have used my other one so much, I bought the Wagner just in case my other one wears out. So far, I have only used the Wagner to spray water proofing on my boat cover. It seems to be well made, has a longer hose, more adjustments, and 2 spray guns compared to the Graco. I can't wait till spring to paint the outside of the house to see if the claim that it sprays latex undiluted is true. It may, since the pick-up tube is twice the diameter than my old one.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BeachBum68 Deal of the day turned out much better than expected!
This unit is made of some nice plastic/nylon material and feels much better than I expected.
Materials used were good, looked good, felt good in the hand.
I haven't had a chance to use the unit since it's been so cold but I did turn it on and hook everything up.
The air pump is fairly quiet on low and not too loud on high. I plan on using some squishy ear plugs which should eliminate noise issues.
In the past, I've used some other (cheaper) "power painters" and they were a nightmare of noise and vibration... no thanks.
The painter has a long, 20-foot hose and two paint nozzles/reservoirs and a common handle.
The power cord isn't too long. You'll probably be using an extension cord.

At first I was delighted with the spray gun, but halfway through the project the gun started leaking I took the spray gun assembly off and saw that the ears that connect it to the turbine had broken off and were lodged in the nozzle. I had to finish the job with a paintbrush.

I have used quite a few different sprayers. I picked this one up for small jobs like painting porch railings. Using extremely high quality, freshly made and shaken paint (SW Superpaint), the best that could be managed with this unit was heavy spatter, despite plenty of attempts to adjust, and as a final measure, thinning the paint. I had to follow over it all with a brush, wasting quite a bit of time. It might be good for people who have never used a high quality sprayer, and do not mind brushing/rolling afterwards, but it is your best bet if your goal is to turn quality paint into overspray, and leave it looking bad. Skip this unit. It's going back to the store.

This outfit is pretty good. It does spray a fair amount of paint in a short order. Have yet to use the white sprayer for heavy latex, but I do see where the canister is using some compressed air to apply some pressure on the paint to help it come out of the spray head.
The air hose is friction fit into both the turbine and the spray guns, this is my only true concern for now to see how long it will stay put as time goes by.
For the cost, I am sure it would not hold up under heavy use. But for the average use around the home, I think it should handle the task just fine. Nice to be able to spray with out the restrictions I have when using my air compressor.
