This sprayer gives professional looking results with a minimum of practice. It is very important to do a test spray for coverage on a scrap of wood first. I painted a door in the fraction of the time it would have taken with a brush with no brush strokes. It gives a smooth even finish in less coats than the brush would have taken. The clean up wasn't bad, but follow the instruction book closely for the first time. Total clean up time for my first time using the sprayer was about 15 minutes. I'm sure it will be much quicker next time. This was well worth the cost on time and effort with the one door already done. I can't wait to use it on the next project.

The spray pattern from the sprayer allows for easy coverage with little over spray. Easy to change from horizontal to vertical pattern.

I found the sprayer to be completely satisfactory. My only complaint is that it became rather heavy when used on a large job.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Alyssia It was too good to be true.
Everything worked fine for the first 10 minutes. And then it was all downhill from there. It kept getting jammed because my primer was too thick. It was behr primer. Nothing out of the ordinary. It is a paint sprayer after all. Anyway. I thinned it out. And it still keeps jamming. I'm so mad. Spend more time taking it apart to unjam it than I have spent painting. Bought this to save time from using a brush and I'm barely breaking even and it's wasting a lot of paint. I'm so mad.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Alex OK when worked, but piston spring broke within minutes.
Just started using it today to paint stucco. Used without the cup following manual with the enclosed tube pulling paint from the paint can. Read the manual twice. Followed all steps. Worked fine for about 3 minutes and then stopped. Since the tube was full with paint, it was not clear whether it create suction or not. After 2 hours gave up, disassembled, washed well.
Turns out that the piston spring was broken in half. This is on the first time, brand new item.
Wagner, shame on you for your quality control and for my wasted time (researching, buying, waiting for the order, and tinkering with it hoping it would work). Now the rain is coming, so at least a week is lost.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AdrianGPTX Great for staining fences
I had to stain my mom's fence this past weekend so I purchased this sprayer from home depot. I stained the inside of her fence in the morning, then took apart the sprayer per the instructions immediately after I was done and really cleaned out the parts well. I took a break and resumed staining in the afternoon and it worked just fine. I think the key here is to make sure you clean out your sprayer immediately after use as to get all of the paint/stain out of the system so it doesn't get clogged up. After I got used to using a sprayer I was able to bang out the other side of the fence in half the time it took me to do the previous side.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by db1290 Worked great!
Just used the sprayer a couple days ago on a tall outside wall of the house. It worked great. Was easy to use. I thought the "remote hose" was going to be longer, so it was kind of useless for my purposes. When it's full of paint, it is a little heavy but not awful.
