Answer:
Yes, it got a hose to feed it from the 1.5qt can, from the back container or from other containers, including the 5gal bucket. Just do not submerge the short and thin part of the hose in paint, but just the big one. You can attach the suction tube as well, this will helps you a lot.

Answer:
There will not be a viscosity cup with the Wagner Power Painter Pro as there are no viscosity recommendations for using with this sprayer. Many latex paints will spray without the need for thinning, however thicker blends of paint and most paint/primer combination paints will likely need to be thinned or used with a paint conditioner.

Answer:
This sprayer will not clog unless your paint/stain has dried lumps or flakes of paint/stain, or has some other foreign object. The paint that I use is as thick as STP oil treatment. Old paint/stain may have solidified product mixed in. Yes, if you didn't just buy it then strain it with a paint strainer.

Answer:
The Power Painter Pro will spray most latex paints without thinning, however there are some thicker latex paints, as well as paint and primers that may need thinning. It is unfortunately just trial and error with latex paints as they all have different make ups.

Power Painter Pro Airless Hand-Held Paint Sprayer is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best painter ever I am selling a house and used the Wagner Power Painter Pro to paint the two car garage. This PAINTER is ADDICTING! I couldn't put it down, the results are fantastic if you follow directions. I ran it dry more than once and it will cause splatter. My fault, not the paint gun. I used latex for the walls/ceiling and the floor. But the floor paint I used was Barn and Fence and that is a THICK paint...it made NO difference to the Wagner Power painter. I'm inspired to do my deck railing and the backyard fence now. Clean up in the kitchen sink with hot water...easy and easy is good. I'm getting the extension hose so I don't have to stop to fill the can. I had the garage painted out in less than two hours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Sprayer for most house hold applications This sprayer functions well in most situations I have found. I bought this sprayer to spray the ceiling in my house and found that this is where it lacks. The connection that attaches the hose from the backpack to the spray gun could be designed to lock in place better to reduce sputtering issues cause when the connection becomes loose. Everything that I have sprayed forward as opposed to up has came out great. You get great coverage and a smooth spray with good technique! Clean up is pretty extensive though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sprayer, if you know HOW to use it! Easy to set it up. I have used it to spray both latex and oil-based paint with excellent results. From metal square pipe fences to Hardy plank sidings, painting an entire 2stories house in just a couple of days (only after-noon working), this sprayer has helped me doing a great job every time. I was painting from scaffold as well as I was painting from the ground, tilting it as needed. When you use it with the twisting can, tilting is a good idea only when the can is full or at least half with paint. I got it 2 years ago and it's still working great. All I've got as "cons" is the cleaning part, which is such a pain in the back. If you wanna use it over and over again on the same day, that's very easy: just leave it as it is between spraying coats and when you're back and ready to go on just clean the tip with a toothpick. But, if you need to stare it between jobs, you'll need to care much more attention to cleaning. Wagner also offers a very useful liquid to pour in the warm soapy water which helps you to clean and lube each part. It takes me about 1hour to clean every part which was in direct contact with paint. I have used the back box, the can adaptor and the handy can as well with great results. I never got a clogged hose, but I was very careful to clean it with the hose pressure tip provided in the cleaning bag which came with the sprayer. One on another, this is a great product which got me a lot of money and it is still in good condition. All depends on the way you clean and maintain it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too Heavy Power unit way too heavy especially if you have a full cup of paint. Also you can't find extra atomizers anywhere except online. I'll buy something else next time. Why buy this if you can't get parts locally? Would not recommend to anybody!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Product Bought this product twice and it worked great the first time you use it, after clean up and following all the instructions it would not work a second time. I would not recommend this product to anyone, it's just wasting your money and Home Depot or where you purchase it will not take it back, you have to go through the Manufacturer which is not much more helpful. I had to throw it out and would never purchase a Wagner product again. I just go out and rent one and it works out very well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Power Painter Pro with EzTilt Gallon Backpack didn't work as expected The unit works well however I bought this to use specifically with the 1 gallon backpack oiling a fence with Flood CWF-UV. Unfortunately the unit couldn't draw the stain up closer than six inches from the bottom of the sprayer. That was disappointing as I've got a lot of fence to stain and now I need to fill the small attached container quite often to get through ten gallons of stain. Do I recommend the quality and to buy it yes, for small jobs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not Buy I understand that any product can go bad.... I am not an expert but I do follow instructions as needed. Purchased this unit 2 years ago to spray my fence with redwood stain. It really worked well, cleaned it up and put it away. Today I started to paint the house. First area all masked off. Paint thinned and strained according to paint manufactures directions. Got a width area of abut 4 feet and the piston froze up. (yes it was oiled), Tried all the suggest in the Wagner Manual and then some. Unit went in the trash............ broke out the compressor with another sprayer to finish........what a disappointment, doubt if I will ever buy another simply because I cannot trust the sprayer to perform.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible in so many ways! We bought this on the recommendation of friends. It sprayed on very blotchy, and in some areas it was far too thick. We sprayed 6 doors, and every door had to be sanded down afterwards, and repainted with a roller. Even worse, the amount of spray that came off of this unit was outrageous. Assembled correctly, and used outdoors on a calm day, we covered a large portion of our deck in plastic sheeting. Even so, we now have to sand down our deck, as well as the side of the neighbour's deck. Our patio furniture was covered, but our BBQ, 15 feet away, was not, and the specks of paint will likely not be removeable. Our plants have been covered in fine paint speckles as well. Lastly, cleaning the device after use was far too detailed and complicated! And immensely time consuming! No wonder there are many reviews that state it's a one-job wonder, as improper cleaning would likely cause the unit not to function properly for future uses. We even had our friend try the unit a second time, as he had recommended it, and was experienced in using it, and he was surprised at how blotchy our results were, and how much of an incredible mess it made. Thankfully, it was returned easily, and without much explanation needed. It appears ours was not an uncommon complaint, and that returns and refunds on this product are not out of the ordinary. Lesson learned, and from now on, we'll just keep painting the old fashioned way - with a roller and some hard work. Better to do it right once, than have to do it twice!
