Yes they cost twice as much as the red plastic pans but they last for ever and you won't be picking pieces of red plastic out of your mud.

I've had different kinds of pans over the years and I liked this one best. Quality material, the stainless is great in this application so it doesn't rust, and I've had trouble with the plastic ones in the past cracking and breaking, which this one obviously won't. Cleanup is easy and there are no grooves or seams inside to have to dig hardened compound out of.
I've actually treated mine poorly by neglect and abuse but it still works just fine, even after I bent it halfway flat. When mine finally goes I'll get the exact one again. Just make sure to clean yours properly and it should last a long time.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Vectorer Makes a Decent Beer Drip Pan...
I bought this mud pan to use as a drip pan under the 4 spigots on my new keezer (kegerator). The edges of the mudpan are sharp enough to cut a finger, so I split a length of 1/4" clear tubing to cover the top edges. The use of ScotchBrite sponges (green/yellow) trimmed to line the bottom of the pan is important as the pan is not watertight. This mudpan converted to a beer drip pan adds just the right amount of redneck panache to my keezer project.
