Customer Reviews

6 in. Hammer-End Joint Knife with Rubber Soft-Grip is rated 2.7 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk rusts after first use. At this price should be stainless. If you want the same quality at better price go to HF

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY !! Very poor quality tool. Not stainless steel so it will start rusting after first contact with moisture. For that quality I would spend less then 99 cents. Cheap Chinese made tool. Will never buy again. Please sell quality made tools if you want loyal pro customers who spend over 100k+ annually in your store.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not stainless steel I didn't realize this blade was carbon steel that looks like stainless....So in other words IT WILL RUST even after one use....stay away from this if you are looking for a long term joint knife in your tool collection

Rated 2 out of 5 by from blade started to rust! The feel and flexibility of the knife is just fine, however the blade started to rust on me after the first day of use. Either it's not stainless or it's an inferior quality stainless steel. I have other joint knifes (from a different store) that have lasted years without ever showing any signs of rust. If the oxidation is not removed before starting your job it will smear off into the joint.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from comfortable but not durable Comfortable grip but metal isn't stainless. Didn't even use enough to finish bathroom before it started pitting. Bought a cheaper 12" blade from a store that stocks only parts from China and it is in great shape.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from JUNK The blade started rusting after the first clean and dry and then proceeded to work itself loose from the handle in about 3 days. The blade is still in the handle but flops around when taping. Already ordered a 3 pack of 6 inch Hyde knives from Depot for $16 versus this junk that cost $10 for one.
