Had to return them - other than looking cheap, they came damaged. The good thing us how easy was to return them in store, and how good the home depot customer service is. But the product it's not good...

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hiphy Looks great. But hardwear not sturdy
A few months previous, I installed shelves of this design from a different manufacterer and they were great. These however came with very flimsy hardwear. I bought them because they were the only shelves of this design that I could find in the light maple color. I bought 3. They look great, but there is no way I could ever put more than about 10 lbs on them. In fact the hardwear can barely support of the weight of the empty shelf. I'm hoping to find better hardwear and reinstall.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by UpstateNY6583 Great shelf - but get your own screws
This shelf is perfect. Clean lines, great light wood and sturdy. However the screws that come with it all stripped with my drill. Go to Home Depot and buy some 2 1/2 " flat head screws that won't strip before using the included screws.
I placed this shelf over my elliptical and can now read or look at laptop while exercising. No excuses now!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Irma61 So easy, so modern, so usefull
I absolutly love it. I have two of them at my livingroom and make my home look clean and modern. Also they are so easy to asamble, so I did it myself without any help or problem. Don't think about it. DO YOU LIKE IT?, JUST GO FOR IT !!!!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by cc712 Buy replacement hardware before you start.
For the most part, the shelves are visually appealing, though one had been puttied on the front face and was not adequately sanded before being finished.
The hardware, on the other hand, is totally unsatisfactory. Even after drilling pilot holes of the proper size and depth, easily half of the screw heads stripped out during installation, many before being completely tightened. Those that stripped short of being tight had to be removed with pliers and replaced. Purchase quality hardware from the outset and save yourself some hassle.
Another consideration is that space to use a power drill/driver is nonexistant unless you have a long extension. I do not, hence the forearm cramps and blister in my palm.
The trouble, versus the cost of the product, make it less than a value. I would recommend this product with numerous reservations.

Would have sent back if I could have. When painted the veneer on the shelves bubbled. I could not send them back after they were already painted so we tried to make slits in the bubble veneer and insert glue. It still looks bad. The brackets, also, are not strong enough to hold the shelves level. We had to connect them to a cabinet that was in the middle.

Nice finish on wood and easy to install. Like other reviews had said I used my own screws. Went into drywall so I used butterfly bolts.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Selfdoer Nice look....but hardware hard to get too
Once I was able to install it, it looked nice. However, they put the screws in the shelf support. Thus, many of screws were stuck and I could not get them out. I had to buy more in order to install the shelves.
