I'm using these in our master bath for rolled towels. They are a beautiful touch makes it feel spa like.

Although you need a stud-finder, level, drill with several bits and patience, these shelves really look nice when installed. With no visible means of support, they are all function. When the positioning we wanted was not compatible with the studs, I used a "molly screw" method and it's working just as fine as others where the long screws into studs worked for us. The screws are stored inside the supports and do require some patience to get them out.

one came damaged, not really white but off white. Screws are cleverly packed inside the bracket tubes but you cannot get them out either end - ridiculous oversight. Matte finish no shine to them. For the price they look good.

Stylish shelf looks similar to something I was pining for at a name-brand home decor chain but cost about 30% less at Home Depot.
After perusing my local Home Depot and finding only poorly-packaged, damaged and cheap-looking alternatives, I decided to take my chances on this one. The shelf arrived packaged VERY well- no scratches or dings on the shelf upon opening the packaging. The color is less of a bright white and more of an antique white/sour cream color. It blended well enough with our nearby bright white bead board, though.
Install was not a breeze but didn't take more than 30 minutes. The screws provided were stored inside the spokes that support the "wood" part of the shelf and were tricky to shake/pry out. Also, the guide holes provided were not spaced in a manner that permitted securing the shelf to studs (we ended up supplementing with plastic screw anchors and drilling additional guide holes in the metal supporting bracket to match our studs).
Now that it's up, the shelf is very pretty and sturdy. It's holding a few bath towels and lightweight decorative items in our guest bath without noticeable sagging and is still flush to the wall. Ended up getting the 24" one as well. Overall, worth the money if you're looking for a larger decorative floating shelf.

This shelf is exactly what I expected based on the product features and info provided on homedepot.com. The finish is really pretty, and the quality of the material exceptional; looks more expensive than It actually was, not like the cheap plastic-looking ones you find in other stores.
I also love the length, mine is 36 inches long, which is way more than the standard size you find to hold pictures and little staff like that; since I needed my shelf to function as a bookcase, this one is wonderful because of its maximum weight capacity of 66 pounds.
I am so pleased, that I bought another one and I am thinking about getting more to use throughout the house. I highly recommend it. It is very sturdy and it doesn't wobble like Others do as I read in other products' reviews.
The packaging and delivery time were excellent, I got it before the given date and nothing was broken or scratched.
There was only one thing my husband complaint about, the screws provided, and since he was the one who put them up, he used his own. Other than that, it took him about 10 minutes to have them ready for me .

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stephanie Great shelf, just what we were looking for
This shelf was exactly the dimensions we were looking for and worked really well in the space. Color and quality were also great. We wished that it had some way of securing more to the mounting brackets, but that has not been a problem yet. They liked it so much that I think we are going to order another one for this same project.

I needed a shelf for my kitchen to hold 5 or 6 cookbooks. This is not the shelf for books. A previous review is correct in that you MUST hang the shelf so that the pre-determined shelf hangers line up with the studs in your wall. We tried sheetrock anchors, and they won't work.
We moved the shelf so that it would line up with the wall studs (even though it made the shelf uncentered on the wall), but when we put anything with moderate weight on it, the shelf would, within a few days, begin to slant downward. My books didn't slide off, but it seemed they would at any moment, so I took them down. I now have lightweight pictures and some spices on the shelf, and it works well. I'm disappointed.
