I had the same model/brand toaster oven for years but they finally stopped making it so I had to switch to something new. This has the additional feature of convection. Once you learn the 4 step sequence of the controls it is very simple. I tried the convection feature and I can't say I saw much difference from the regular baking feature.
My son has the same brand/model and he recommended it to me. He did his research and thought this was the best value.

The only problem with this digital oven is that I am baking so much, I'm gaining weight!

Only had oven for about a month, but it seems to be a quality product. Very happy with the effectiveness of it's various cooking functions. With it being larger than a typical toaster oven, it is limited as to where it can be put. The Power cord being about 24" long and the back of oven (which gets hot) being extended (to enable a 12" pizza to fit), adds to this limitation of where it can be put. Haven't seen an electric bill yet, but figure using this more and the full oven less should be saving money. Thus far have been very pleased with this purchase.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dragga Convenient and easy to use
Digital time and temperature controls are more precise than knob/manual mechanical controls on less expensive models. Touchpad controls for toast, bagel, pizza, bake, convection bake, broil, and start/stop are also very convenient in selecting an oven function. Its digital and touchpad controls are the primary reason for my purchase of this model over competing ovens. Its stainless steel and black finish goes well with my updated kitchen appliances. Oven cleans up easily. Electronic beep tone for alerts is not overly loud and certainly is not a deterrent from purchasing this model. Because of its convenience and ease of use features, I am using this toaster oven much more frequently than my previous manual model.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by jtre If you are looking for one that doesn't emit ODOR when you use it!
This was our 3rd try at finding a toaster oven. Most of them had a strong odor when you turned them on.
We put them outside and heated them up and that didn't even work!
This Waring toaster oven was not nearly as bad for emitting odor as the other 2 brands, so we put it outside and it cleared up more easily..so we kept it!
Hopefully, the manufacturers will bring back the days of providing NON TOXIC, NO ODOR appliances..right out of the box! Don't send us smelly appliances!!
PS. One thing missing on the Waring is a clock which shows how much time is left when cooking.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by winterpark789 Very pleased so far.
This appliance works very well, especially the "toast" and "bagel" functions. I've also used it to cook a grocery store pizza that came out perfectly. I like having an option to using my full oven. The appliance exterior does get very hot, though, so I take care to move it away from everything while it's on.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by oc Very Well Thought Out
This oven replaced one made by GE and outclasses it in every respect. The GE elements burnt out quickly and its inside temperature was very inaccurate. On the other hand, the Waring heats quickly, is easy to use, and has very intuitive controls - overall, an excellent product.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JSB Fits counter space perfectly.
The oven heats quickly and well. I have used it for toast, for roasting vegetables and for heating up rolls, but not for baking so can't comment on the convection baking feature. I find that the shelf is sticky to move in and out, and it's not clear from the instructions which side is "up" or "down".
