Customer Questions & Answers

Does this oven make nosy when is baking?

Asked by: Delia
If you use one of the convection settings, which would be Convection or Roast, then there is fan noise. It is moderately loud. If you use Bake or Broil, it is completely silent except for the "ding" when the timer ends.

What are the inside dimension?

Asked by: Delia
It's 11.75" from the flat part of the back to the front edge. 14" from left wall to right wall. Of course you want some space around the edges of the pan, which is why they say it fits a quarter sheet, which is 9x13. Height clearance is 6.75" when the rack is at lowest position - between the rack surface and the upper heating elements.

Customer Reviews

Professional 0.9 cu. ft. Convection Oven in Silver is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Made This is the same size as an average microwave oven. It's listed as a Commercial oven on the box, and the sticker says Commercial / Residential. It's made in China. It is all metal, and almost no plastic. The exterior, interior, knobs, handle, and included tray are all stainless steel. The included wire racks are chrome plated steel. There is no coating of any kind on anything; the interior is bare stainless steel. The back of the unit has a "hump" that stick out about 6 inches; this contains the convection fan components. The oven is well designed so that you don't even notice this bulge when you look at it from the front - it looks really nice. There's a 1" diameter round hole in the upper left rear of the oven. I believe this is a vent, since one is needed for steam, air expansion, etc. It does create some extra heat right behind it so you have to watch for clearance. Inside, there are four heating elements, two on the top, two on the bottom. They are made of nichrome, the same thing used to make traditional stovetop elements, so they are super durable. The light is a halogen bulb, and it's on all the time, which is actually good because you can always monitor your cooking. The light is bright enough that you can actually see how well your cookies are browning, etc, but it's high up so there is no glare. The inside surfaces have a polished finish which reflects heat and speeds cooking. I noticed that the lower interior floor bows up about 3/16 inch when heated due to expansion, but it doesn't seem to affect anything. No drip tray is required, although the included pan can be used as one if needed. The door has hinges on both sides. There are no creaky spring sounds; it's solid. It opens to exactly 90 degrees in addition to a 1" position with a good detent. It is made with dual glass panes for insulation, yet the top and bottom edge are open to prevent moisture build up. The handle is large, solid, and is mounted on a stand-off so there's plenty of finger clearance; it stays perfectly cool even at the highest oven temperature. The door is sealed with 4 separate rubber gaskets that have a substantial metal strip running the entire length, and they and are supported well. They don't have any odor, even when hot. There are two blue LEDs, one for power, one for temperature. They are bright, but I don't find them annoying. I actually like them because there is no mistaking when the oven is on. The functions are simple and straightforward. My only real gripe is that the timer only goes down to 20 minutes, and although you can technically set it for less than that, you have to guess. I measured the preheat times at exactly 7 minutes to 300 F, and 8m 30s to 350 F. Both those times are very good in my opinion. The outside of the oven stayed pretty cool, about 100 F on most surfaces, and the front glass only reached 145 F, meaning the double glass door does its job well. I really like this oven, it's well built, cooks well, and seems like it will last a long time.
