Questions & Answers

I do not understand this: "Note: When a Timer is used alone, it cannot regulate floor temperature." "alone"?

Please explain. Is the point you have to have a floor warming probe connected? If not let me know how to installso it will regulate a floor warming probe. Thank you
Asked by: sallyhon
The timer does not have a sensor or a sensor input. Because of that, it has no way to know the temperature of the floor or be able to regulate that temperature. To regulate the temperature of the floor, you would need a thermostat instead of the timer.
